I've just spent an hour trying to sort out Tesco problems - it appears my DH's clubcard account has been hacked and £180 of vouchers stolen. Please check your accounts.

    Thread here

I now need coffee and a calm down :)

Thanks, checked mine and ok but I will keep an eye on them, glad you have sorted out your problem.

  • Hi all

Feel a bit of a fraud because I am really struggling with work, housework and all the other stuff that needs to be done. I dont know how the rest of you manage!

Worked till 2pm yesterday, walked the dog, took parents to railway station then was doing laundry and other housework till 9pm. Read with DS2 for a bit then went straight to bed. Oh and MIL rang up and she said oh I know how you feel, I didnt get finished until 7pm at night sometimes. Hmm, sitting down at 7pm would be a luxury at the moment ...

So, off to start on shepherds pie for tea then get the hoover out and plod on I guess. Feeling a bit :( though.

    Hi all.

Computer maintenance stuff for me today, so lots of sitting-down tasks.:T

Ruby Labrador (she'd a yellow lab, btw) came for a gentle stroll to the post box with me; she walked well with the mobility buggy. She's got quite bad arthritis, so she can't do much walking, but she's very happy and laid-back.:o HB, you'll know about this stuff, she's got to have a Tramadol tablet each day with her dins, as well as various supplements for her joints. I'm told she just hoovers them down with the food, so we'll see later.;) Oh, and I'm familiar with H!ll's prescription diet - it's what little Sidny had (some of you may remember me posting about a diabetic Miniature Schnauzer). If Mrs Dog is doing well on it, I guess you just have to take the hit on the purse. Got to be better if it means she doesn't need morphine.:o

I've just placed my first meds order for me since the surgery "upgraded" their computer system - so we'll see how they manage to screw the order up this time. *rolls eyes*.

I'm just about to try for a dance with Mr Dys0n so we'll see how Ruby behaves with that.;)

ETA: Regarding sending apprentices/other newbies out for non-existent items, my first fiance (a scaffolder) used to send the young chaps for "a bucket of pudlock holes", and my boss when I worked at Woolies (back in the 70's) used to send lazy people for "a bottle of elbow grease".:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Dusty - sorry for your loss.

Going to get on with my Personal Challenge - into the bathroom. Then when DH gets home, we're out to the cinema.

Just thought - I'd better report in about my personal challenge, as Bossy will be asking us for input.:o

OK, well, Wednesday I did another wax bath for my hands and feet (last chance til Nov 2nd, as I'll have dogs til then); yesterday I actually trimmed my nails before any of them splintered, must be the first time ever,:D and I had no choice but to put on proper make-up last night, as I had a Mensa meeting to attend that I couldn't get out of.:o

When we were young, childless and broke we used to spend time in our local B&Q playing with the musical doorbells..... our favourite one to set off was the one that played the Australian national anthem......
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
