I'm finally getting there
I have £25 left of my £200 budget, it's payday on Friday and I have done the final shop last Friday
Next weeks shopping is done already to take advantage of a Tesco e-code and I've had to pay for it with my credit card because they don't take electron but I'll adjust all my figures and redirect money where it needs to go on Friday.
So I'm not quite at my £160 for the month but £175 is definitely better.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

WOw. I just totted up the grocery spends from my excell sheet and thought I would have gone over for sure because we only did one shop at the begining of the month and due to illness, birthdays etc , i have found myself popping to the local costcutters and waitrose for numerous bits and bobs but have just totted it all up and it comes to £248! Which is £2 under target!
Thanks everyone for your great tips.:heart2:I have a child with autism.:heart2:0 -

End of the month for me after my last big shop of the month yesterday. I still need to get a couple of bits and from my calculations I will come out at roughly £90 for the month. This means that I am £10 below budget, which is fantastic considering. I've already spent the £10 on a treat for my other half and I at the cinema (Star Wars).
Yesterday I did a big shop at Tesco's online filling the freezer back up again. I now have enough meat for the whole of next month which is good. I would usually buy some tuna fish cakes and some fresh cod fillets from asdas, but these can wait until my next shop, which is in 2 weeks time.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I can't itemise the various savings I've made since joining Old Style but the one thing I can do is read the bank statement I got this morning...
It tells me that I finished the month with £166.80 more than I started with!
Yay!
