    Hi
I have had a quote of £130 to change me to Windows 7.
Left to me I would still be on DOS 3.1

What OS are you currently on, and what version of Windows 7 were you looking at changing to?
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?

There are 3 editions of Win7 available to most people:
    Home Premium
    Professional
    Ultimate

Normal price of Home Premium is around £130, but you can get it for less:

I have no knowledge of the company or how they operate, but they've sold a lot of them!

    Hi
The £130 price is installed with a disc and licence.
    Thus updateable.

Run Windows Upgrade Advisor first, to get an idea if your system is capable of running it.

The change is unlikely to produce £130 of value

Haven't we spoken about this before?

Not another who asks and then does nothing....
  • Why not do the sensible thing & do things the German way. They are giving out Ubuntu to XP diehards.

In fact if Ubuntu seems a little hard to master, you can always take a course in it. Evening classes would be the perfect solution & the cost minimal.
