Boots scam?

I think they tend to be on BOGOF somewhere in the vicinity. J&J or Pampers Sensitive (which is the ones we tend to buy). Have hardly ever had to buy for just one pack. Mothercare, ToysrUs, Asda often have good offers. In fact check out Asda as they do even better multi-packs of Pampers wipes for a really good price.

Nettos often sell boxed 6 packs of J&J or Pampers for £5.99 - £1 each. Otherwise if no-one has a BOGOF offer then get the 3 pack of Asda or Tesco own brand.

I agree with the OP - if the offer states buy 1 get 1 free then thats what you should receive - if they deemed the OP to have exceeded the terms of the offer e.g an acceptable quota per person then they should have advised her of this & sent her that amount & refunded the rest e.g 10 packs & 10 free.

also fair play for buying 50 i would too if i needed them and could afford them - first comes 1st served, and as long as boots are getting the £ for it who cares!

The store would, if only one person was allowed to buy the entire lot it would annoy everyone else who wanted to shop there!

the OP said she bought from boots.com i imagine they would have a fairly large warehouse to accomodate all their stock and a huge amount of sock of items on special offers

I have had a similar problem happen to me - although not on this scale.
I just assumed it was a one off incident?

I ordered a boots brand shampoo/condition on bogof, 5 of each,10 bottles in total
(not as much as it sounds, it was one of each for 4 swim bags & a set for home)
I was sent the 5 "paid for" bottles ,& an email said the other "free" 5 bottles would be sent when available.
Next email informed me they were out of stock,and I would recieve a refund of "£0.00".
I'm afraid it took several calls before CS could work out why I wasnt happy!

i have 2 year old twins and a 6 month old baby i also have 4 other kids and i use wet wipes on bums,hands,faces,tables and my leather suite and i only get through a pack a week sometimes a couple out of another pack as well but its usually around the 1 pack mark so it would take me 100 weeks to use all those wipes plus where do you store them?????????
not being funny but you can see why boots were suspicious

50??! Five o!! meaning you needed 100 packs???

I am a childminder and have 3 in nappies - I go through 1 - 2 packs a week.
Equate that to 2 - 4 packs a week for you.
100 packs is just being greedy!!
