  • PLMBL.I think if I make it again then I will cut things up a bit smaller and try that. The colour of it is rather off-putting :D

I should not be allowed to drink :o. My pal and I were chatting last night about how it is time for me to meet someone new. I have very little ties now as kids are older and my time is basically my own. The rest of my life is pretty much sorted and all in all life is pretty sweet ( except debt of course) but I do miss having a significant other. I don't admit this very often as I don't want folks to feel sorry for me but there it is. So last night what did I do? I joined plenty of fish. I have 2 guys wanting to chat to me and 5 want to meet me. I put honest pics on and they were taken on recent holiday. I am a nervous wreck :rotfl:. I am chatting away to a guy just now . !!!!!!!! I don't do this. !!!!!! he's just told me I'm cute :rotfl: I am PMSL here. Don't think I have been called that since I was about 17. Oh Gawd what am I doing?

Anyway, to other news. Busy wee day today if I can get off the PC. I have some housework to sort out. Need to head to Aldi's for a few things then up and see my wee Mum and take her some flowers. Then going to my Aunts for dinner with my brother and his family. Looking forward to it tbh as haven't seen my brother for a few weeks. Ridiculous really as he only lives up the road.

Oh sh*t he has just asked me to meet for coffee!!! What do I do. Am scared :rotfl:

Just spent £28 on a groupon deal. 90 loo rolls and 6 double size kitchen rolls. Fantastic buy. Even cheapest loo rolls would cost about £32 for that and that's not including the kitchen rolls.I really really need lots of loo roll just now as well. Between joining a dating site and eating all that soup- sheesht, I'll never be off the loo :rotfl:

Cool mit go for it a date would be so exciting go meet him , hell either be lovely or not your type but only one way to find out
  • Kitty, I have never really been part of the dating scene. I did some disco winching in my teens but met ex oh when I was 17 and that was that. I had a few dates with 1 guy after we split but tbh it was more out of desperation to stick 2 fingers up to ex. i.e. I can get someone too nah nah nah nah . Any time a guy shows interest in me I run! (metaphorically obviously cos this body does not do running) I do not have a bullsh*t radar and will find this hard going. I know loads of folks who have met people online so I will keep my fingers crossed that's what happens to me. Unless I decide to run away again :o

Yes i understand what your saying but hey still you never know what may happen
  • You've "met" all of us on line. Go for the coffee. Treat it as meeting a new friend rather than a date and it'll be fine. Also, cut him some slack. He's prob as nervous as you.

I agree with everyone else, have a nice drink with him, think of it as a friendship and of it doesn't work what's the worse ?

Ooh MiT, go for it! You've a wonderful sense of humour, are very sociable and have a happy outlook - not surprised at all to hear you've hooked someone already :D

You can always make your excuses and leave if he's not for you. :)

  • My DD just said that to me. She said 'Mum, what's the worst that could happen' I said 'he could be a serial killer and I would die' lol. I then received what she calls a snidey (dirty look)

I have told her straight off as I don't want to do anything behind her back. DS will find out on a need to know basis :rotfl:.

Just spent £20 on 2 polo shirts and jumper for DS but polo shirts were reduced from £15 to £3.95. He loves polo shirts and is taking a wee bit more care of how he looks. He needs some clothes so for £20 including delivery I am happy with that.

Just spent £24.63 in Aldi today but not all groceries. £2 was for flowers for my Mum and £7.99 for shoes. They are extremely uncomfortable though so I will be returning them ASAP. I bought 2 things not on my list which were bananas and macaroni. Only £14.64 for shopping. I am very proud of that sum.

Went to my wee Auntie's for dinner. Bless her, she's not been well and she made a 3 course dinner for us. Soup, steak pie and then choc fudge cake. I ate 2 small bowls of soup but no hot rolls and butter, I then had stew and had some puff pastry :o and pots and veg. I did not however have a pud :A. I am feeling very virtuous.

Back to work tomorrow and I could just cry. I really really don't want to go. I am actually wishing that hospital would call me so I could go in for op and stay off. I am thinking I should ramp it up with searching for a change of job :(

I hope you have all had a lovely Sunday xx
