  • Apparently at DD'd age a mammogram will not do much good. Something to do with the density of the tissue ( perky boobs in other words) but she will get ultrasound, x-rays etc. I'm less and less worried as time is going on but every so often a wee 'what if' thought sneaks into my head.

I've just counted my spends for this month and OMG :eek: wait for it £1,202.20 :eek:. I am obviously very confused and think I am very rich person. I did spend money on the kids and holiday deposit but bloody hell. I need to stop this. I did still manage to overpay but this is farcical. I need to get a grip !!

Going tomorrow to look at some cut off trousers for my holidays. £10 for 3 pairs from a girl on facebook. She also has some knee length shorts and couple of nice tops I'll look at as well. I should more or less be sorted then except for sandals.

Am away to give myself 10 lashes for overspend

  • LAM I know. I am thrilled too after all this time fighting for some support. I'll enjoy it whilst it is forthcoming:D

Skinny I am getting more and more convinced by the day that that is what she has. Everyone keeps telling me that if there's pain hen it's nothing serious. Hopefully she'll be seen soon and we can all relax. She's having a lovely time away this weekend with her BF. Just sent me a pic of their ice cream sundaes from Nardini's in Largs. Definitely not of the diet type

So we were working this morning. I lay in until 10am and then went up as it was a nice easy house today. £22.50 earned so I have paid that straight off of my CC. Also paid £6.74 last night that I had received from a cd sale. Every little helps. I would love to get into the £17's this month. Will be a big ask mind you as hopefully I'll be off on holiday.

Bought 3 pairs of cut off trousers, a top and a pair of shorts for holiday for £20 off of a girl on facebook. 2 of the trousers have labels still on. I'm really pleased with them. She says she has more shorts in her loft and will let me know when she gets them down. Not much more to get now.

So I am away to do my own housework now and then make dinner. I have church at 5.30 as I am doing the walk in the morning and then DS and I are heading to a party :D. Need to pick people up in morning at 7.45 though so I need to watch what I am doing tonight.

I spent £5.69 in local shop for rolls and meat and snacks for DS and I today but got packet of pasta, 1litre long life milk, large bottle of water, salad dressing and a stir fry sauce from the house we were cleaning today so it's all good stuff.

Have a good Saturday folks xx

  • I do that PLMBL and I have always sworn that we will not stop living whilst I'm paying off debt but last month was ridiculous

Was at a party tonight and spent £17 on drinks and £20 for gift and £1.29 for card.

Best get to bed as I have an early start tomorrow and out with the pink army to kick cancer's backside xx

Good luck today and thank you on behalf of many of us I'm sure who've lost someone to, or know someone with, the Big C- hope the weather is as good as down here with beautiful sunshine.
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019

  • Thanks Ali. All done now and feet are sore. Am so unfit :o. Don't care though as I raised £185 and it was worth every one of the 10,000 steps. We walked past the Clutha Bar on our way round. That was where the helicopter crashed into the bar roof. The pink army had it covered in pink. I left my big pink daisy. Was heartwarming to see. I get quite teary when I do the walk. When you see the kiddies on people's tops and the brave folks doing the walk when they are so obviously ill it makes you humble.

I am now chilling out on my couch with my feet up :D

Spent £4 on train fare. No other spends as my pal bought my lunch :D. Hopefully no other spends today

tried to get free tickets for home show in Glasgow but only during week ones left and fingers crossed I will be in Murcia. Was talking to my cousin last night at the family party and she is waiting to see about a lump as well and appointment has taken 5 weeks . Defo going to phone on Tuesday and let Doc know the family history

Dunno what to make for dinner as I forgot to take anything out of the freezer. So it'll be a frozen dinner of some sorts but nowhere near hungry as yet and DD is away out with friends and DS is upstairs with some munchies. So no real rush.

Weather is pants here today. Stayed dry until after the walk but lashing from the heavens now. Hope you are all having a nice relaxed Sunday xx
