  • D Day tomorrow. Kidney stones are a gogo (fingers crossed). DD taking me to the hospital in morning and another wee treatment.

Horrendous journey home from work tonight. Poor guy had been knocked down. Because we are slightly rural there is only 1 road into our wee town. So my 25 minute drive took 2 hours. But I arrived home safely and some poor soul has not. Helicopter had to land and take him to hospital. All very sad. Some people were 4 hours for the same journey . DS was out for dinner with his Dad and ended up getting train home. So we are all praying hard for the poor man who was knocked down as I believe it is touch and go for him.

Spent £2.10 today on lunch and due to not getting home until 7.30 I spent £10.40 on a chinese for DD and I.

So I need to get to bed nice and early for my treatment tomorrow. I'll catch up tomorrow xx

How sad about the guy and your prolonged journey home. :( Hope he pulls through too. Events like that do put things into perspective and the spend on chinese pales into insignificance.

Good luck tomorrow, hope all goes well and you and kidney stones are finally parted :D

  • Went to uni. DD drove. It was very exciting and her eyes were dancing with the sheer excitement of it all. I am so happy for her. Still to figure out how we'll finance it but at least the fees get paid for :)

  • Good morning. Am sitting on couch in my dressing gown and I feel yuk :(. No pain as such, just weird sensations but I feel so nauseous :(. I hate being sick so am nervous it will happen.

Trying to forget about it and have been doing my snowball. Debt has increased this month . I'm sure that's not whats meant to happen. I also got nowhere near my £350 per month target . I am giving myself a must try harder marking this month. Still to go through my spends but I imagine they will be pretty dire as well. I despair at myself. I can't even say 'at least the debt has gone down' cos this month it hasn't.

Texted DD to see if any of the guys she is working with have a daily record because there are vouchers for Aldi in it today. If she doesn't then she will be heading down to shops when she comes home for a couple. £5 off a £40 shop plus other vouchers.

Am defrosting my fridge as it is so icy it's unbelievable. I think it might be on it's way out to be honest. It is icing up so quickly and the wee ice box is just full of ice. It'll take all day for it to defrost.

I'm off to do my end of month spends and I will just add onto it over the weekend and start afresh on Monday. I still have the other £25 for ASDA and will use that to stock up on cleaning stuff. I need bin bags and bleach so will get them and see what else I need.

Going to have a wee snooze before doing anything else xx
