  • You're right INOD. I found out from DS that his Dad had said to him that he should visit his grandparents more as they wouldn't be there forever. Now DS feels guilty and has stated firmly that he will be going in more often. Now that is absolutely fine by me but to be told this from a man who left his parents alone on Christmas day with no Christmas dinner and not even a tree up is rich indeed. Such an eejit

Anyhoo, I've had a nice wee day today. Went to church with my friend and her Mum. Spent £3 on collections ( I always feel so mean but hey I'm skint) and then went to hers for soup. Came home and made a huge pot of soup which is in the slow cooker, made sugar free jelly for DD and I's lunches and have chicken in the oven just now for dinner. House is tidied and 2nd load of washing is in.

No other spends today but I sold an old mobile on ebay for £28 so I am pleased with that. I need to try and get through to the 28th without overdrawing as DD has her digs to pay that day and she also owes me a fair whack of money too. Majority will get paid off of cards though. I will use the £25 I am getting free from ASDA to do a small shop so fingers crossed it is credited to my account by Friday.

Going to chill tonight and other than chasing washing around various radiators I a will not be moving :D

  • Lol, I am doing the same radiator relay! Had 2 lots dried outside today but it went awfully dark for the 3rd lot so I'm making the most of the heating being on!

I'm into making my jelly mixed with a mullerlight so it sets firm. I use strawberry or blackcurrant sugar free jelly and only make it with half pint of boiling water and put it in the fridge to start to set. When it is cool and just starting to set I mix in a raspberry and choc muller and then pour into ramekins or tupperware to set properly. Absolutely yum, especially with a squirt of light aerosol cream on top Xx

  • oh I need to try that plmbl. I made jelly sweets the other night. That was 2 strawberry sugar free sachets, 1 strawberry muller light and 2 sachets of gelatine. Jelly only had half of the liquid ( i think) and 2 sachets gelatine. Half into flat dish and set quickly in fridge. Yoghurt mixed with other half and spread over top of set jelly. Then put in fridge till set. Cut into small squares and only 3 syns the whole tub. Defo not as good as haribo but not too bad

I am overloading on extreme couponing tonight and it's put me right in the mood again to look into this a bit more. I'll let you guys know how I get on :)

Soup smells awesome. I have just thrown a whole load of potatoes into it so it will be a good fat free feed for us and should do all week.

I've run out of space now to dry washing :rotfl:

  • Too right Sista Rach - they are exes for a reason :D

Well I went to Ballroom dancing tonight. I used to do this as a kid and I loved it tonight :D. Tonight's class was free but will be £5 in future. I really feel as if I've exercised and it was such a laugh. I'll keep going for now and see how it goes.

NSD today. Hopefully will be tomorrow as well.

Weigh in tomorrow and I am not confident. I was dreadful on Saturday night but straight back on track. Fingers crossed I even get a wee 1lb.

Not much else to report today. Been busy but not MSE wise xx

  • Oh Gawd yep. It's got to be fun or forget it.

    Another wee 1.5lbs off tonight so that's 11.5lbs in 3 weeks :D

I'm on a roll. I got accepted for a product test. Fairy dishwasher tablets :j. I get the tabs and some other lovely bits and pieces along with it. Smashing :D

Spent £1 today. Such a spendthrift :p. I am absolutely skint though. I could overdraw but am trying my very best not to or at least to keep it to an absolute minimum. Kids are moaning as juice etc getting low and needing to scrimp with every penny. Hey ho it can't be helped. DD's payday changed so I have had no money from her this month. She gets paid next Friday though and I get paid on the Monday so we will be fine after that.

My friends are coming up tomorrow night for a wee catch up so I will need to get a couple of packs of biscuits for a cuppa. They'll be cheap though :rotfl:.

So another busy day but an enjoyable one. Am away to watch extreme couponing ....................Again !!!
