That is exactly what my Mum said about my DB...he only started taking an interest in cleanliness and appearance when a GF appeared. Seems a typical boy thing! :rotfl:

  • No lassie on the horizon yet but he has assured me he is working on it. This is the boy who announced to me 2 years ago that he thought he was gay. Personally I still reckon he might be but he doesn't know it yet :). Am not bothered to be honest so long as he's happy. When he told us that a couple years ago he wanted to announce it to the world and change his status on facebook. Thankfully I talked him into keeping it quiet for a while and he's changed his mind. Now this may sound as if I'm homophobic but I am so so not. I have loads of gay friends and I love them loads as I do other friends, I just worried as he is quite sensitive and I was scared that being gay would make life even harder for him. Otherwise whatever floats his boat is fine by me.

So today I used some more coupons. Got another pack of dishwashing tablets for £3, money off 2 shampoos and a fairy liquid. Saved £10.75 in total. Spent £12.50 in ASDA as needed a few wee things and of course my bargains :D

I won the bonus ball in work today so that was £25 :D. I have spent it now mind you but it has saved me from lifting any money. I paid ASDA in cash and paid £2 for a baked potato at lunch and I have £15 left for my fruit and veg box tomorrow. Good wee bonus though.

Sun is shining here today. Still quite cold but it fair lifts your mood when the sun is out.

DD is still on cloud 9 :D

  • Supersavvyme Skinny. Joined that and got DD to join too, I then check where the best buys are for the products I want and go and get them. I have enough washing powder and dishwasher tabs for about 3 months now. Total cost should have been £60 and I paid £15.97. Pretty cool !!

  • Was Saturday I won PLMBL but we're still the best ;)

I am bone weary tonight. In work from 8am this morning. Did a massive amount of work on excel which took me about 3 hours and my colleague closed it without saving it despite e telling her 3 times to watch what she was doing  I actually nearly cried. So I just walked away and came home early. DS and I then went and cleaned the house we clean. So was out from 8am until 8.30pm and worked solidly. Sheesht!!! Only good thing about it was DS owed me his share of the money so I am £60 up :D.

Got my veggie box delivered and told the guy that I had been a bit disappointed last week as I had thrown some stuff out. I got a free pineapple, melon, strawberries and pears. It's a relatively new business but I am hoping to be a weekly customer so want to make sure everything is good. I'm buying from them as I am fed up with the supermarket stuff not being fresh.

So other than my box I haven't spent anything today. When I'm dieting I have loads of NSD'S as I take everything into work with me.

So a weekend off with no extra work and a nice tutorial to go to. I'll have a wee wander around the shops when I am there as I desperately need new trousers.

    Am off to bed xx
