Sitting waiting on my fruit and veg delivery. Mainly because it has a breakfast pack included and I want a fry up. Slimming world style of course :)

Was going to go to ALDI but think I'll pop into ASDA and get shoes for DS a new top for me and some milk as that is absolutely all I need today. I will go to ALDI during the week when it is quieter. It'll be mobbed today due to the vouchers so I will go about Wednesday.

My george foreman gave up the ghost a few weeks ago and I am really missing it. Argos have them on offer @ £34.99 and I have £9 in nectar points. Homebase have the one I want at £33.09 so that's even better. I will try freecycle firstly though as I am a moneysaver :money:

So I'll be back later xx

Hi, I'm a newby to your thread, but thinks it's brilliant :D I too am a single mother, to a 21, 17,14 and 5 year old, so can identify with a lot of your posts. As you can see from my signature, money is not a problem for me though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Seriously though, this millionth LBM I had in September last year after turning 40 will be my last and I'm determined like you, to have some money at the end of the month one day instead of month left at the end of my money :o I'll be cheering you on! You have really been doing so well :T

  • Hello traveller and welcome to my musings and mutterings and rantings etc etc . One day we'll be millionaires :p

Just back from ASDA. I really wish they would ban me. I bought shoes for DS £25, a top for me £4 ( see the difference there lol), Flowers for 2 aunties, my friend and my friends mum for mothers day. STill to get flowers for my own Mum but Aldi's have lovely wee baskets so I'll pop in there after church tomorrow for them. I got curly wurlys, sugar free jellies, milk and bread. All essentials as you can see. Total spend £43 . I only have £4 till monday now. Ach well what's new? I get antsy when I'm not skint anyway.

DD's friends are coming here tonight for drinks before heading to the dancing so I better clean the loo or they might catch something as it is yuk. Bloody DD's fake tan makes everything a lovely shade of pooh!!

Nice quiet evening watching the voice for me tonight and I will be cooking pork stir fry for dinner. DD will love it and DS will hate it. I however will love it as well so majority rules :D

Posted on FB to see if anyone has a george foreman they dont use and wahey one person has one they have used once. She just wants me to make a charity donation to CHAS for it so I'll donate a £10 and am very happy with that.

Was £32 for my fruit and veg delivery as I got the breakfast pack. This consists of a full lorne sausage sliced,
potato scones, large pack of bacon and eggs. Also got another 12 eggs with my boxes !! Good job eggs are free on slimming world as I will be eating plenty of them. Am munching on grapes just now and they are so fresh and crunchy - nom nom. Only problem I have is that they are not covered in chocolate !

So I now need to heave my substantial backside upstairs and clean the loo

  • Kitty it was very sad. We need to look after our old dears better than we do. Shameful that folks get so lonely.

Dawny I've heard folk do that I'll need to try it and see.

Well bathroom now gleaming. Just need DD to put the clean shower curtains up as I'm too wee. My bedroom is done and all windows are spotless. Very happy MIT today.

My friend dropped off the George Foreman and it is brand new so again happy MIT.

The only thing blighting my afternoon is DS practising his recorder. DD is away to Disney on ice. Her friend's Aunt had bought tickets to take her kids but then couldn't go so DD and her friend have taken the kids and they are in a 'box'. She texted saying she feels all posh :rotfl:

Forgot to say took car for a wash earlier. Full hand wash for £4 and it looks grand. I'm always the same once we get close to spring. I sit all winter in a hovel and then BOOM I need to get everything clean for spring.

Am offski to cook dinner. Pork chow mein. I'm starving
