Hi folks. Rubbish sleep last night. Was still awake at 3am. Up at 6.30 for work as had no pain. Managed to stay until 2.30pm and was then in so much pain I felt as if I was in labour  and had to come home. Fell asleep on couch for an hour and now feel fine.
My friend came up to give me a copy of the reading I have to do at the funeral on Wednesday and to show me a copy of the order of service. We had another wee cry. Was nice though to just have the 2 of us and we sat for a good hour and had a right old blether. Did us both good as last few days although we have spent a lot of time together we have always had loads of other folks about us.
I spent £50 today on a wreath for her Dad but my brother is paying half of it. I bought a cardigan for funeral but managed to get one in the sale for £10.50. Paid £2.99 for my lunch and that's all so not too bad.
Got a letter in from CSA with details of my payments for next 24 months. 1st payment to be £410 :rotfl: Good luck collecting that CSA. Even the kids laughed at that one.Never mind, a girl can dream :rotfl:
So am just chilling now and deciding on whether to have an early night or not. Hope you are all well xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Crumbs, you did extremely well to function at all today on such little sleep - you're so resilient. I really hope you're through the worst with pain and on the up and sleep comes easier and longer tonight.
Sounds like things are coming together well for the funeral and nice that you had alone time with your friend. Well done on the sale cardigan too.
Ooh that would be a lovely first CSA payment, if it happens as you say. Keeping fingers and toes crossed for you.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Ali there's no chance!! I will pass out if I see that in my account.
No pain today. Hopefully yesterday was an end to it. I'll find out on Thursday anyway and go from there.
All organised for the funeral. I was down at my friend's Mums with her tonight and we had a wee chat. Her poor Mum is really tired and just desperate to get it all over. She is a quiet living woman and she will hate being the centre of attention tomorrow. We will shield her. I feel sick at the thought of it tbh but I will put my best foot forward and try and support them the best I can. I just hope I can do this reading for them. I will !! I will !! Send me brave vibes around about 10.15am as I will be needing them.
Spent £6.35 today on nonsense. Scone for breakfast, lunch and chips to eat with chicken for dinner. I am defo a stress spender.
DD and I are going to join slimming club again next week. She has booked her summer hols and wants the weight off and I have put back on nearly all the weight I lost and am totally disgusted at myself. So my payments may not be as good as I would like this month but I need to do this for myself as I am just so uncomfortable and I have hardly anything to wear. I can't afford to be this size
So am away to chill for a wee while and then head to bed as early start tomorrow xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

I remember when my Grandad died last Year, at the Funeral my Grandma kept on saying "I hope I didn't make a fool of myself"
We did the same thing as you are planning on doing which was trying to shield her and reassure her and help her say her goodbyes....
I hope tomorrow goes well...I'll be thinking of you and sending postiive Vibes out to the Universe....xXx0 -
