  • Funerals are one of the few places where it's ok to show raw emotion in public. In a way,it's testament to the extent of your loss so don't be worrying about that. Also, better to buy a new blouse than having to worry about your boobs popping out or a button heading off towards the congregation.

  • Afternoon folks. Tutorial went well. I met my tutor and a few of my fellow students so that was nice. I am well on track for my first assessment. Wee powerpoint presentation so should be easy peasy.

Then met up with my friend, her DD and her Mum and we went clothes shopping. Just the boys to get organised now but females all sorted. I ended up not buying anything. I will pop into town on Monday and pick up a top. I have everything else and so do kids.

I was horrified that parking cost me £4.80 for the 2.5 hrs I was in tutorial. I'll need to find a cheaper car park. Spent £10.70 in ASDA and £6 in poundland. £4.79 for KFC as I had had no food. DD is treating us all to a chinese takeaway for dinner as she got some extra pay this month :D.

I'm way over budget for the month yet again but hopefully I will be better than last month. I need to order flowers for the funeral though which will set me back a few pounds. My Brother is going to chip in with me though.

    I'll be back later xx

  • No superwoman today Rach am in mucho pain but hopefully it means this sucker is on its way out of my body. Feeling pretty ill just now though. Cross your fingers that it is gone quickly for me.

Was at my friend's today picking hymns and readings for her Dad's funeral. We all he a wee cry. Her Mum wasn't sure of one of the hymns so we sang it to her. Wee soul was in bits so then the three of us were in bits :(. We then wrote the eulogy. Well I wrote it more or less as I can usually make a decent job of that type of thing. We ended up in tears again but mostly laughter as we remembered many many years of daft stories about him. The kids were loving it. So hopefully all organised and I just need to hold it together on Wednesday to to the reading for him.

nsd today as only been out to friends and didn't even take my purse. Am away now to get my hot water bottle and take the STRONG painkillers and knock myself out !! Laters xx

Hope the little sucker has found it's way out & you are now pain free - if not, keep taking pain killers as there is no need to be a martyr ;)
