Evening all. Interview was at 9.30 and I am still traumatised :rotfl:. I was grilled, turned over, grilled again then wrung out for that final bit of information. I think I did okay but there were 3 candidates after me so we will see. I was told that the post would be un-managed for a while as the manager was moving and was asked how I felt taking some higher grade duties on. No problem said I
. It seems quite an easy job but we will see. I will know by Friday one way or another. One thing I was very aware of was that many of my peers would have had no clue how to answer the questions as set. They were asking about who my key stakeholders were etc and luckily I knew what they meant.
Spent about £10 today as had to buy lunch and took my brother for a coffee after my interview. Not too bad and no other spends this week planned. Hopefully it will stay that way as well. The woman we clean for has asked us to clean both houses this weekend so I will have £52 which I will pay off BOS. So all is well in MIT world and long may it last xx5 Year plan. Sounds like interview went really well. In my experience they don't keep grilling unless the time is well spent so good vibes.
Didn't see the benefits programme (probably best for my blood pressure) but from what you've said  I'd hate my life to be like that tho, how boring.:A Let us be grateful to people who make us happy: they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Marcel Proust :A0 -
KissJen don't watch it on catch up then as your BP will explode. I would hate that kind of life too. Very sad.
Anyway I didn't get the job but in all honesty I'm not bothered. I would have liked the extra money, the on site gym, swimming pool etc but actual job sounded a bit naff. I lay awake last night for hours and thought ' what are you doing?' I was actually really worried that I would get it :rotfl:. Contrary or what. So it has all ended well. I got really good feedback and was told it was a very strong group who attended. I reckon they had someone in mind when they advertised the post. I am actually starting a new job in my own place on 28th so I will get away from nightmare boss and hopefully it will be a bit more exciting for me. I told her this morning that I hadn't got the job and she shouted ( she always shouts) 'whit de ye mean ye nivver got it' She then laughed and said ach well you better just get on with it. She's a nightmare. If that had been one of my staff I would have taken them away and made sure they were okay. Cow lol
So I have spent another £10 on carp today but all affordable. DS and I getting hair cut tomorrow as we look like scarecrows. Probs cost about another £40 but needs must.
One of the girls I am really friendly with in work is away for some tests today to see if her cancer has returned . Not heard from her yet so am really worried. If any of you pray, add her onto your list tonight please.
