  • I just read it again and it made me giggle too Puzzcat..............hysterically.

Pizza and chips in the oven for dinner. I will then have a nice bath and prettify myself for tonight. A few wee ciders will go down well I reckon. I usually drink vodka but no can do as am still off the caffeine.

I just finished knitting an aran scatter cushion. I even learned how to make tassles. This is it here

It looks fab. Not sure whether to keep it or take it to the car boot and sell it. I'll think about it as it may be too expensive for the car boot as I would want a £10 for it due to all the work I've put in.

So I'll be back tomorrow and report on my spends tonight

  • I'd say sell it as it's so much nicer than the ones generally on sale. I'd also say you should seek commissions to do more.

  • Oh dear I really need to stop posting when I've had a drink lol.

Anyway, feeling fine this morning so I couldn't have been that bad.

Am going to just potter about today. My course started yesterday so I will see what's to be done this week and set myself a study schedule. I'll tidy up and get DS to run hoover around. I'll do ironing. I'll start a wee knitted baby set I told my Aunty I would do for her and make Sunday dinner. I doubt I will even get out of my pj's :D

So I have £22 in my purse. I wonder how long I can make that last. I will report updates on here. I have plenty of food so shouldn't need to buy anything other than fruit later in week. So I am now on a mission to make it last as long as I can. Just remembered it's my wee Auntie's birthday during the week as well but I have gift money separately so that's okay. So I will just get her flowers and I will get my Brother a voucher for Amazon.

Am away to get brunch :D

  • Evening folks. I've been studious all afternoon :D. I then made a roast dinner. Well it was a cheats version as it was roast beef that I had frozen, gravy I had frozen, frozen roasties, cabbage I had frozen, frozen yorkshire puds and frozen dauphinoise and a tin of carrots. It was delicious though and kids and DD's BF scoffed the lot.

I nearly had a NSD but I bought a pom pom maker. I had no idea they existed. I am very excited with this discovery. One of the items I am knitting for the shop is a hat with a pom pom so this will be a real boon to me. Only £7.25 for a large and a small one and I can tax deduct them if this takes off so it's all good. I will put the money back into my account when I get paid for the knitting I have done so far.

Am tired now. Last night catching up on me. Going to chill out and do some knitting whilst watching telly xx

Hopefully you'll have an extra bit in TCB to come soon, as I used it today for the first time :j

Good luck with the pom poms! Brings back memories, my old Nan used to make them with a cardboard circle - well she got me to do the main part of winding the wool around it :rotfl:

Roast is a roast, frozen or otherwise :D

Had to read your latest message twice MIT, first time read it fast and thought it said you had bought a !!!!!! maker, thought that's a new one to me, then reread it and realised what it really was. :)x
