  • Wow nearly 4 weeks passed in the blink of an eye. Sorry folks but I have been incredibly busy. Also DD has been nicking my laptop as hers is broken and I hate using phone to look on here.

Anyhoo. MIT household has been a bit crazy workwise. We are all like ships passing through. DD is a party animal who works and goes to uni so I only see her when she is skint :rotfl:. DS is working hard and attending college as well.

I was away on a wee overnight jolly with friends on Friday night and I am still recovering today. Heading out for lunch with another friend soon so I'm looking forward to that.

When I receive my monthly cleaning/laundry money this week I will be able to clear my overdraft. I will then reduce it to £500 so I never end up in this position again. I'm on track with my 5 year plan to get everything paid off and it's all very exciting.

Next debt will be a small CC one and that'll get me back down to 3 CC's outstanding. Not sure which one to tackle first but I am tempted to hammer the huge one down as psychologically it'll give me a massive boost if I can get rid of that one. It's on 0% just now anyway so I think that'll be my plan.

Anyway I hope you all have a lovely Sunday and I'll be back soon xx

  • Hi guys. Sorry I've not been about but April was a crazy crazy month workwise. I made enough money to renew all my interior doors in my house though so it was worth it.Just waiting on my handyman getting to me with a date to start. I took this week off of main job to catch up with myself and had a lovely week. Busy as always but am feeling almost on top of things.

I was stressing big time about my garden. It's a mess and I don't even want to sit out in the sun it's so disgusting. So I've hired a wee man to come in every 2 weeks and keep it nice for me. Luxury I know but I can afford it. It means I can sit out and mess about with flower pots etc rather than fretting over getting the grass cut and weeding done. I'm so happy I've done this.

Had 2 deaths this week which have shocked me to the core as both were 52 years old which is the same as me. One had meningitis and it caused so much damage that his life support machine was switched off. The other had a massive heart attack and just dropped. So sad about him as our families have been friends for 52 years. It has however given me a massive kick up the backside to start looking after myself.

I started a step challenge in my work to coincide with the national one that is ongoing. Was hoping to get a team of 5 together and I've got 94 :T:T. Gold medal for me and many many brownie points ha ha

Going out for dinner tonight but have already been on and checked out the menu to see what healthy options there are and I am taking the car so I don't end up on the wine or the cider ( or both :o)

I hope you are all well and I'll try my best to come on more often. Debt is steadily reducing though so all is well xx

Awful news about the sad loss of people far too young to lose their lives :( It's scary when you think about it.

All other news is good though thankfully. Enjoy your evening out.

  • Evening folks. Hasn't this weather been fabulous. My whirligig is stuffed full of washing drying in the sunshine.Downstairs of house is immaculate and upstairs doesn't need much doing to it. I've had no work this weekend and it has been such a treat to be able to really have time off.

I have a funeral tomorrow and I'm dreading seeing everyone. It's going to be a hard day. I've taken a day off so I don't need to go back to work.

Had a fab night out last night with friends celebrating their engagement. Lots of lovely food and I still managed to stick to plan.

I've lost 11lb over the last 2 weeks so long may it continue.

I'm going to have to rein myself in as far as spending is concerned as I have been going a bit mad recently. I had the money put aside for my doors but bought a console table and tickets for 9-5 and mamma mia

I am however getting a bonus in work so hopefully that'll cover some of it. Built the console table today but its badly cracked so am waiting on them getting back to me about that.

Not much more to tell but I hope everyone is in fine form xx
