Your weeks off are sounding full on already MiT - do take some time to slow down as well.
All good things come to those who wait - though the romance had better be *hot* to make you wait this long :rotfl: (same here, I keep telling myself :rotfl:)

EE well done, 0.5lb is still a loss. I got nothing this week.
Skinny I reckon I just don't like internet dating. I am a chatty person( I'm sure you'll all be stunned at that confession) and I like meeting people. I reckon if I am going to meet someone it will be naturally. I got my cards read yesterday and they were so good. The girl said that I am exhausted just no but it's because of hard work and sickness ( yes) she said that money is not my God and that I am not materialistic (yes) than she said 'you keep saying, All I want is if I need a new sofa then I can buy one ' ( eerily I had that very conversation with my daughter last week.) She said that my karma is about to come into being. That I sit and think 'when will it be me? I've worked hard, I've done everything I should do , so when ill it all come together for me? ( so so true, I've even said it on here) And the great news is that it's all about to happen. Everything will come together as I want it and in the not too distant future I am meeting a lovely manSmashing
looking forward to it :rotfl:
So today has been manic. Busy morning at home, ran DD to work as she had left her car there yesterday, went to Waitrose ( I am a waitrose virgin and liked it muchly) came home and made chicken dinner and pot of soup, went to work for 4 hrs and now I cna hardly even move. I am gubbed!! Roll on Friday until I stop for 2 weeks, So £58.92 spent in Waitrose but I was £25 for a new ironing board as DS has wrecked the last one which is now at the skip.
I am knackered now. Going to call hospital tomorrow nd see what the kind of timescale I am looking at. Hope everyone is well xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Ali I am sure our Mr Right is out there somewhere just waiting on us. I'm annoyed at the internet man though as I even bought new lacy knickers ( just incase) not that I was assuming anything :rotfl:. Thankfully I only bought 1 pair :rotfl:
I feel great today. Antibiotics finish tomorrow so we will see how it goes after that. I phoned hospital today and there are a few on list before me. I checked that I was on the list and in the right place. I said to the secretary that I was meant to have had surgery in April and was still waiting. She told me she had people who had been waiting since March  What the hell is happening to the NHS?? Where is all the money I pay every bloody month going? I'm getting a bit angry now. 'The list' must be some size if there is a 3 month backlog. Shocking. Anyway GRRR
As you guys know I am being super good on my diet and tonight I made the spaghetti carbonara. We gave it 8/10 as it was rather tasty and very filling. I then made the half syn cake which is absolutely revolting. Cost me loads to make as well as the first batch had to get thron out as I forgot to put the quark in. It really was minging tbh. Was like sweet scrambled egg. Girl who spoke to us last week has lost a HUGE 10 stones and swears by the cake. She makes 3 per week apparently. Eew not for me thank you very much.
Spent £5 today on works lottery. Went out to chines for lunch so was £5.50 for that. Was £113 for 130 euros. £50 of that was from working at weekend and £50 I had intended to spend anyway. Another 100 euros next month and I will be sorted for spends. Spent £11.20 in Morrisons but I was buying my DS his first razor, shaving foam and after shave balmMy baby is growing up. He'll need to pop up to my Brothers for a wee shaving lesson. I'll have the blood transfusion folk on standby
.
Work was aful today. We had no computer systems. The whole country was down and it was a nightmare. We are holly digital. I ended up clearing out drawers and spring cleaning. Nightmare. Tomorrow will be sheer hell !! Best have a good brekkie before I go in then.

Last month I paid £350 from my debts which is my target. However I paid £136.14 in interest which is devastating really. I used to do a countdown in my signature of interest paid and how much it was going down. I am going to do this again. I can't get 0% deals just now but will phone my bank as I have a huge balance on that and can transfer onto there if they give me a deal. I'm doubting it but I can only ask.5 Year plan. hi MIT
dreadful that the waiting list is so long for surgery! But I suppose at least you are near the top now. I just hope that they can keep you pain free.
Its depressing working out how much is wasted on interest isn't it but you are doing well in chipping away at it and it will be gone one day.

:rotfl: :rotfl: at the lacy knickers! Until M&S start stocking the ones I wear again, no man is seeing anything :rotfl: Could be a long wait all round here :rotfl:
Good to hear you are feeling better, but the NHS does seem to be crumbling noticably in alot of areas now. Do hope you get sorted very soon.
Great idea to note that interest and it's always worth phoning an empty card provider to see if a deal is in the offing. What a saving that would be in the long run if you could just get 0% for 12 months on some of it.
You're sounding well organised with hols spends and debt payments - good stuff. :T Shame about the syn cake. Sounds urgh! :rotfl:Back on the DFW Wagon:

i LOST 5LBS TONIGHT :j:j. Delighted with that. That means 12lbs off in 4 weeks. If I could do that every 4 weeks I would be a happy chappy
LAM luckily when I do not have an infection my pain is at a level where I don't even need painkillers so I am justifying how long this is taking with the fact that there will be folks in that queue who will be in agony and I will just wait my turn.
Today's spends are £5 in Aldi on fruit and salad. DS has discovered he likes bananas and is wolfing them down. I am happy with this though as he eats very little fruit or veg. He wants to lose a wee bit of eight and is cycling and doing press ups every day. He has also cut out most of the junk from his diet. Hopefully my good ays are rubbing off on him. I also spent £4.50 in slimming club on rocky road bars and raffle ticket. No other spends
I have applied for a 29 month card with Santander to do a balance transfer. They have turned me down before so I'll wait and see what happens. Fingers crossed though as I need to try and get rid of some of these interest payments.
I am feeling really positive just now though and am going to at least try and overpay by the tax credits of £12 I am receiving as I am not used to getting it anyway. If I get maintenance again then I will also try my best to pay my cleaning money as well. That could be £100+ overpayment which would be fab. Baby steps though and I will start today with a £12 payment from my tax credits.
