  • Thanks guys I had a lovely day and defo big celebrations next year. Hi Verbatim welcome welcome.

Ali I have always known I was a millionaire in training. I just didn't think the bloody apprenticeship would take so long :mad:

Was going to report NSD today but then remembered I went to Morrisons. Spent £12.12 but had got that down from £19.12 with £5 voucher from Daily Record for fruit and veg, £1 off yogurts and £1 off of Lurpak, so not too bad. I was however £48 for petrol. I am well into my overdraft this month. I just paid too much out by paying for holiday and £194 for specs. I'll catch up next month hopefully.

Still having nice wee text chats with my new 'friend'. Feeling very comfortable with him and his texts make me smile. He has his kids tonight but said he'll try and call once they are settled. I hope it's not much later than now as my hayfever is wild tonight and I am whacked. Really needing my bed.

I haven't managed to catch up with any diaries this week but hopefully between tonight and tomorrow I'll get caught up.

Wee question for you guys. Where oh where does all the washing come from?? I am on to about my 10th load this week. Admittedly I am washing everything in sight because I can get it on the line but jeezo!! Our weather is lush by the way and set to remain so over the weekend :D

  • More to the point, where or where do the single socks go?
Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Progress not perfection.:T100%through my 1% mortgage challenge. 100% through my pb challenge.
  • INOD I have pondered that very question myself on many an occasion. My dd has given up trying to pair socks and just wears odd ones now. I have in fact did that myself a few times. It's a conspiracy.

NSD today :D. Took food from home into work and not been out tonight.

Down to 58 meals in freezer so I am using everything up nicely. I have 2lbs of mince defrosting now and will make chilli tomorrow with that. DS does not like chilli but he can use up the odds and sods in the freezer the nights we have that. Next weeks meal plan as follows

Sat- Chilli and rice, DS frozen curry
    Sun- stew,veg and mash
    Mon- Pork?
    Tues- Macaroni
Wed- Salmon and pots me, crispy chicken and sausages kids
    Thurs- Chicken curry
    Fri- Fish cakes, chips

Just need some fruit and veg, milk, cheese and bread I reckon. I have another £5 off fruit and veg voucher for Morrisons so that'll help.

Working tomorrow but need the money for DS's fares next week. I can't wait for him to stop for holidays as this £40 per week is a killer. Not long to go. This is final week and I am doubting he will go in all week.

Been invited out tomorrow night and not sure whether to go or not. Will no doubt end up costing a fortune. I would enjoy it though so I'll see how I feel tomorrow.

I hope eeryone is doing okay. I am super tired tonight as been burning that old candle at both ends this week. I'm getting too old for this :o

  • Good Afternoon folks. Am posting now as have decided to go out tonight after all. Shocker :rotfl: but hey YOLO!!

Todays spends are as follows. £2,30 for chocolate for my friend's daughter who has broken her collar bone :(. £17.80 in M&S for cold meat and a chicken. Was overcharged and went back and got refunded. I also thought chicken said £4.49 but it was £7.20 . It was £4.49 per kg!! It will be made to do at least 3 meals that's for sure. It'll be a roast chicken dinner, chicken curry and chicken noodle soup. I was also £1 for ice. I only have £30 to spend tonight so I will have to be careful.

I am just heading for a shower just now then going to mass so I can have a long lie in morning as I am tired this week. Enjoy your Saturday folks xx

Hope you had a good night out:beer:

Well done on keeping the shopping spends down and using up the freezer:T

Reporting in a 1lb loss this week.

Well done to others that are in our weight loss group:)
  • Well done on weightloss EE.

Great night out last night. Fab company and yet again the booze was flowing. I am turning into an auld lush :rotfl:. Only spent £22 though as shared a taxi home and the couple who were in it with me would not take any money :D. Result !

I am very very tired tonight and I reckon I will be in bed really early. Been for a 5 mile walk today and went to a lovely park in Glasgow. It is massive and we came across a bandstand with a male voice choir singing in it. It was so nice sitting in the sun listening to them. My friend's granddaughter was with us and she was all shy at first but I just chatted away to her and after about 20 minutes I felt her wee hand holding mine as we walked along. Such a sweet wee girl. I'm smitten.

Spent £5.70 whilst there on a roll, tea and 2 ice creams. No other spends.

All in all another awesome weekend. Not heard from internet guy since Thursday so am assuming he's changed his mind. Not particularly bothered mind you so maybe not for me x
