No rain here yet but very cloudy so I don't think it's too far away. It's very clammy though. Windows are opened wide, housework songs are on and house has been scrubbed from top to bottom. Just hoovering and mopping to get done. Chicken casserole is in iven and I am just about to put veggies on. I am very hungry as I have had a very very upset and unhappy tummy today. Might be something to do with the crazy shots we were drinking last night. Will I never learn ??5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

That's very good going doing all that housey stuff when you're feeling a bit 'morning after the night before'. I'm impressed!
Good to hear the new glasses are working out well. I've got away without spending on that side of things...for now anyway!Back on the DFW Wagon:

Just been catching up mit - I'm impressed you didn't put loads of weight on when on your holibobs - I put 8 on in Cornwall cos weather was rubbish and we spent lots of time sheltering in pubs/restaurants - eating- eating and eating some more
lol it was supposed to be a cheap caravan holiday but I'm sure I'd have been able to go abroad on what I spent........but its done now and we did have a good time even though we didn't see that much sunshine.
I am using the food from freezer/cupboards and am determined to pay what I spent on holiday on cc off in full this month..... I'm going to get to target with SW within the next few weeks - think I'm on a bloomin' see-saw - lb on - lb off........... and its been like that for AGES.
So I'm going for it. My plan is to pop into Aldi for potatoes on my way TO work - that way I'll only have a few minutes to spend in there and won't be able to buy anything I can't leave in the car all day...... that'll mean low spendy day - I'll have to use some of the sausages I've got in and keep to sw plan too - thats the plan anyway - let's see what happens lol.
Exciting - hope your new found friend turns out to be GORGEOUS........January spends - £587.580 -
Hi Milann. Good luck with paying the money off of CC. I have put on as much as that in a couple weeks before. I think I managed it this time due to the no sweet treats thing I am still doing. I was doing the yo yo thing for months before going away but am doing good just now. I had a bad day yesterday with drink and food but I have been VERY ill today so I am sure most of that has now left me
No contact today from my wee friend so I'll just see what happens. Turns out that the friend whose house I was at last night knows him. She went out with him when they were in Secondary school. Nice guy from a nice family but she had heard a whisper many years ago that he was fond of the booze. He'll not be in my life if that's the case because I have had one man like that and I certainly don't want another.
Anyway bed for me now. I'm shattered.

Hi folks. Bit of a crazy week so far. Monday was NSD for me. Just went to work and no spends required which is all good.
Tuesday no work spends but spent £8 on concert tickets for DS school concert and £3.50 on bottles of water as I forgot to lift any and it was very very hot in the school theatre. The concert was fabulous though so was well worth the trip.
Today has been my 49th birthday  and I have had a lovely day of being spoiled by everyone. Had dinner out tonight with 2 friends so it's been a lovely day all in all. Spent £17 tonight so not too bad.
Got a letter in today from HMRC telling me I will be getting tax credits of £12 per week for DS so that's good.
All the chat with the nice man from internet is going well so everything is moseying along nicely here. AND it's been sunny. What more could I want ??5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
