Sooooooooooooo tired after the most boring day at work. Thank goodness there's only another morning to go. Off to voluntary work placement in the afternoon then it's a very lazy weekend for me!

Yippee! It's the weekend! Another NSD making it 19 now too.

Will be a No Spend weekend as no pennies left to spend as usual at this time of the month.

SO this weekend will be full of batch cooking ready to freeze for easy after work teas and the usual cleaning and long dog walks and also baking 2 Christmas Cakes.

Oh yes, how could I forget? A lot of eBay listings to do too!

Ooh I used to love helping my Mum make the Christmas cake, she does lovely decorations on the top.

Have a nice weekend cooking and family time.

  • A good result from the quick eBay sales this week, 7 more items sold and the pile of stuff to go is getting slightly smaller.

  • Well that was a rather brisk frosty walk around the nature reserve this morning, nice though!

Today's plan is to clean half the house, bake the cakes, make a soup, parcel up eBay sales then make a lovely sausage casserole for tea, bake potatoes at the same time and another long dog walk. Think that's it for today unless I remember to take some more photos for eBay listings.

    Happy Saturday everyone!

I really enjoy making them for my family. My cakes are the plain version that aren't decorated after downsizing from the large cakes to a more respectably sized loaf cake.

All jobs done for today, going to do some listing tonight after tea which is looking rather delish cooking in the oven!

More eBay photos taken this afternoon and more to take tomorrow, it might be one of those marathon listing days I think. Still lots of things need new homes and I'm onto the final box of craft stuff to list. That's a good result after they were stacked up for all those years reminding me of when I bought them trying to make myself feel better by buying things I didn't need or want. Those days are long gone and we'll and truly in the past.

A relaxing evening watching lots of TV and some quick listings, nice!

I'm pleased to report that the Christmas cakes turned out well, the soup was great made from store cupboard ingredients and that sausage casserole cobbler was well nice, I'm a soft touch for a bit of cobbler or dumpling stodge!

  • Relisting so done along with some new listings, still plenty more to do tomorrow.

Dr Who was very enjoyable. Always good when a programme is good despite the build up!

I have had a lovely chilling out day at home starting off with a nice long walk around the nature reserve this morning then back to finish the never ending sweep of leaves this time of year.

Then finished the cleaning off, took remaining ebay photos to list tonight and put a rather nice looking casserole on to cook with more cobblers to top it. I'll have more lovely teas for the next couple of weeks!

What else have I done? The ironing of course, washing that refused to dry outside, sorted out some more washing for tomorrow.

Tonight I'll be listing on ebay for the free listing weekend and painting my nails for the week ahead.

Of course its another NSD making it 21 and another No Clothes Spend day making it number 23 - only 7 more days to go and its another no spend month of clothes - think it's almost month 7 - quite unbelievable!
