I too love budgeting - it has turned my life around in such a positive way.
A nice long walk with the dog this afternoon after posting the ebay sales and buying the new doormat to replace the one that has been falling apart for the last year. Everything ready to go for work tomorrow and an early night for me I think.
Bought 2 more Christmas presents while out from presents fund and also drew out some pennies to buy one more this week. Then to have a think about what else to get including ingredients for some home made pressies for my friends which I know they will love as they have already tried them out and have asked for more!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Another NSD today up to 20 now for this month
Bought mum's pressie for crimbo which me and my brother are buying and felt nice to get it with plenty of time to go and also no rush or hassle. Used the Christmas present budget for this
Ear infection still hissing away making me feel quite run down so off to see a nurse tomorrow to see what will make it go away after 5 daysfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Well it turns out that infection was not an infection and the hissing was caused by wax - phew no more antibiotics then. Ears syringed to remove it and my hearing came back. Still some hissing there but should settle in a few days and I felt better straight away - bizarre but a good result and hopefully I am on the mend now after the last couple of weeks. Still quite wheezy but hopefully that will settle as I take it easy.
What else is there to say - not a great deal apart from managed to mop the floors and get them dry quickly on the bright and breezy day, also some washing dried outside and took the dog for a nice long walk this afternoon.
Super long day at work tomorrow too - leftovers ready to take in

NSD 23 today and no clothes spend day 25
Phew its the weekend, after a long week at work and got plenty done this afternoon at voluntary work placement.
Christmas pressie delivered today so that is mum almost bought for with one more thing left to get. Paid for door and window from savings as per the plan and arranged a quote for more work. Also arranged a quote to give some idea of how much getting a tree removed will cost - probably a lot more than I think so far.
Also something delightful happened - called into the jewellers to see what I could buy with my birthday money pressie like a nice pendant. Turns out I can get one for my budget and they are going to make it for me! Awaiting final details - can't wait!
Off to meet my birthday bessie mate in the morning then catch up with some housework and a general chilling weekend of dog walking, cleaning, soup making, stew making and TV watching is in order for mefinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
A nice relaxing day today - early morning coffee and birthday cake then chilling this afternoon.
Half the housework done, bedding almost dried outside and another ppi ombudsman letter put together to send off on Monday. Also re-listed 20 items on e bay and more to list tomorrow. Clocks all changed ready to go for tomorrow.
Meter readings done for this month and bill received ready to pay on pay day next week - all OK there too with no nasty bill surprises.
Also a good achievement was paying off my overdraft and staying in credit at last at the end of the month as I wanted. The plan worked and has taken from July - Oct to get there and a lot of knuckling down to stay on track - well worth all that hard work though! Plan now is to stay in credit each month - starting November onwards.Let's see how I get on with the next set of learning stepsfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Not much on today apart from finishing off the cleaning, ironing and listing on ebay.
A nice relaxing weekend is in order for me this weekend - sat here with a hair pack on and about to shovel a face mask on to get that job done!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Totalled up food spends and petrol spends for October
Food - £112.85 /£100 - £12.85 over
Petrol £95.56 / £100 - £4.44 under
Clothes no spend days - on target for another no spend month - number 6!
NSD - aiming for 28/31 for this month - not bad for a 2 birthday month!

A lovely stew for tea - yum!
Another 5 items listed on ebay tonight totalling 39 in total for free listing weekend finally getting some of that craft stuff on there I bought when I was depressed years ago. Hope it goes to a new home where it will get used.
Quite enough listing for one day!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Yeah yeah yeah yeah!
An excellent quote to remove the tree from a brilliant firm - nice one. Another job to tick off my list of things to do!
Then another shock as I opened another ppi letter to discover a much higher compensation amount than I expected. That was a surprise that made me breathe quickly and my heart beat quicker. The house renovation can start a year quicker than I expected. This time none of it goes onto debt repayments as the loan cannot be overpaid or paid off quicker. If you had told me this a year ago I would not have believed it.
All done for filling in the ppi questionnaire from MSE and a phone call. Worth it! Also sent off an appeal form to the ombudsman about another claim turned down by another bank
So will a happy heart and another up section on this roller coaster of emotions month that has been the last 4 weeks I can declare I'm almost at another No Clothes Spend month and NSD 25final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Not much to report here apart from a really boring day at work, collected 3 prescriptions - how much?! Paid for out of health account.
Stuck to weekly petrol budget and finally sent that passport application off at long last. Now that's a job I've put off for a long long time! Money came from gold jewellery sales about 2 years ago - that's how long it's been put off for!
Had a little think about what to spend some of that ppi money on - do I go a bit bonkers and buy myself something I would never be able to buy unless I spent about 3 years saving up for? Or do I stay sensible and go for the cheaper version which I could save up for. Need to have a think about it and work it out. No need to rush a decision or anything like that until I weigh it all up properly and work out what is best for me
Anyway on that note - NSD 26 and no clothes spend day 29final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
