i suggest anyone else who feels concerned enough to do the same.
So it's all your fault then - overloading their systems with secure messages!

The biggest concern over this fiasco at HG its its pretty damn obvious that if Wall St closed having dropped like a stone if you wanted to sell all your shares at London opening you would not be able to!The Early bird may catch the worm ...but its the second mouse that gets all the cheese!0

It's not so long ago that the NYSE and NASDAQ had system failures as have other bourses and platforms, it will probably happen again in the future. The HL failure is regrettable but doesn't deserve the over-reaction seen from a few whom perhaps haven't the risk tolerance to be trading equities.0

HL site seems to be behaving OK this morning but I haven't tried a trade yet.
RM hit 475p just after opening but now back down to 466p.0 -
Not working. I can log in and view my account but I tried several times to trade, buying Lloyds shares but it just hangs.4kWp, South facing, 16 x phono solar panels, Solis inverter, Lincolnshire.0

Placed limit order of 470p. Reveievd email saying it been sold twice. Its on my account too. What to do? Helpppp please0

They had the entire weekend to sort this out - what excuse do they have for not having done so.
What annoys me about the bullcrap the CEO spouted was how he claimed "other brokers are experiencing the same problems too"
Erm, no they're not.
And even if they were, does that then make it OK - "our competitors are crap, so we too can be crap". Some CEOs should are beyond stupid.0 -

Totally disagree, no-one trading equities expects the risk to be that their broker's systems keep crashing.
Just tried to sell via Hargreaves Lansdown and got the error message "Online Share Trading Currently unavailable" so that's the final straw for me, I'm out.
Totally unacceptable to still be getting online trading errors at least six days later.Every generation blames the one before...

I wouldn't worry about it too much. You cannot sell the same share twice so it's probably just a residual glitch in their system.
I'm starting to think that I should have sold at 470p this morning.0 -
Thats wot I thought. I cant sell shares that I dont have, right? And I tried to buy back but cant on the shares isa.0
