ahhhh. JUt posted long thread & its gone! In summary - got into size 14 skirt for first time since approx 15 years; reduced mort rate and saved dosh with very little effort and now onto gas & elec and checking my rates!
Lovely to see the old gang and look forward to catching up! Posting will be limited though as mega busy and just cannot post like I used to!! Plus mre time I post is less time trying to save dosh!
Yes Mol, migraines still here & unlikely to ever go but better than they were and thankfully its thundered so migraine has lifted - been very stormy here recently!

Been a busy couple of days with work & trying to sort finances out! I've sorted my enquiry for my council tax as think I've been incorrecty banded. Did the "test" and looks like its right but also checked neighbors & houses either side are 3 bed terraced and band C and mine is 1/2 a terrace and 1 bed only and also a band C so relatively certain that they made a mistake when it was rebanded! Flats two doors up are also band A (which I used to be) and pointed all of this out to very helpful woman! Will apparently take about 2 months but any overpayments will be backdated to 2005 which would be fab! Every penny counts! Next job is investigating gas & elec as currently paying 52 a month for elec and slightly less for gas which seems a rip off! Next to consider how to make some extra dosh! How's everyone doing? SS do you know if baby is boy or girl? What news of wedding Mol. Great that you've saving on rent by moving in with family! Will save a bomb. I seriously considered selling my flat but thought that by the time I've paid rent it would be financially not a great idea. Tempting though...mind you I love my wee flat! Hope all ok! Off to check for bargains, dosh....

Hi all,
Good to see you pf! Been busy checking car insurance but turns out I'm too early to get quotes which is funny!! Changed gas & elec to Scottish power & have sorted to have a full one account so once DDM's paid the rest will be transferred to my one account & start working to save me dosh! Took me a while to get the hang of the concept but also hoping that it will encourage me to not spend! Also cancelled my call answerphone & got a cheapie answerphone to save long term dosh! Not sure what else I can do now? Any ideas?!! Hope you all had a DFW day!
