Aww thanks girls! Good to be back but !!!!ed off with myself that I let things slip BUT also recognise that I have come far in the last year! My lightbulb moment was last Mch/April and while I am almost back where I was financially I am not the same person I was then! To answer questions....
Spending diary will be back on payday (20th!) and I must redo my spreadsheet as the one I have is out of date! This time round I'm going to be a bit more chilled about things and I think the fatal mistake I made was stopping everything and it just wasnt sutainable! I dot actually "need" much as allotment is kitted out, car ok, no food for now etc so its just weaking the bills & stopping the "old" bad habits that have crept in like mags, parking (when I can park free!). House bills are about the same as elec etc gone down but mort up! I spend less time at home & now usually go to the alltment after work and love it! Its "saved" me as my best friend said! I cannot express the joy in planting, growing sucessfully and one day soon eating my own produce! I think I was actually quite depressed (well know it) & that was part of the shopping. Now when I shop I'm more measured and careful but did slip into putting things on CC. I'm not going to sell worldly goods on ebay again as realised that some things I should have kept (like my epilator and just got a new one but cheaply!). Mainly I'm just oing to cut down and stop buying things when I dont have money! My main concern is the CC's and need to watch out fr shopping urges when I get t goal and learn that saving is good! I think I was just so used to owing money that it almost scared me to think that I wouldnt IYKWIM?
Thanks for the lovely welcome back & its great to hear from you all! Re lighterife just go to the .com and info is there. Its a great process that helps you look at why you got fat (in my case) and how to change it. It is expensive at £66 a week but you cannot have ANY food for the first 100 days. You have to need to loose 3 stone & have a medical with your GP & regular BP checks. Yes initially I missed food (its on my blog which I may post but undecided as photos are on it!!) but after a while you take a step back from food and are able to think about why you got fat - smething I would never have done without this process. You also have weekly group sessions. The weight drops off (if you dont cheat!) & I've gone from a size 22/24 to a 16/18 - although I suspect now an 16 as the skirt I got 3 weeks ago is too big so will have to go back (unworn!)...It's quite an incredible feeling and I feel fab! Just need to get shot of the debt and I'll then get my new boobies!!! Ok will stop as this is now LOOOONG!!!
Well done pepys for doing so wel in the interim! Fab new totals Mol & look forward to the wedding goss! What sit with work?!!! Well done on job Lynz - may be crap but its dosh!!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

Yeah much the same. Ive been quite boring myself really. I have been digging at OH to get his debt sorted and being a bit too holy about it, and been a bit oversacrificing. It has been difficult cos I started one job and then left that then started another and didnt get paid in the interim you know the drill so the money from the flat has dwindled more than Id like. However, Ive finally got round to sorting out my regualr saver so will be saving 350 a month min ( which I used to spend on debt) to try adn top it back up again.
Im a bit all over the show really, as Im in yet another career crisis, but im happy ( ish) as I am, Ive got a second job too which I quite enjoy. so just loving being working and back out and about.
Health wise, they reckon the abnormal ladies cells are healing themselves which is good news and we are tentively talking about nippers.Dr saidf theres no reason we cant start trying whenever :j so thats a huge relief. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

lynz fantastic amazing news about the nippers wow this is a great news thread tonight ...i know what you mean about the money shortage between jobs it's amazing how you say loose out on £500 but it takes you a year to make that back up (well it does me anyway) i'm sure i dont need to tell you though to check the savings rates (a&l are good if you take out a current account) what are you doing work wise just now? and what do you fancy ?..i'm honestly so pleased about the good health news i was (like everyone else i'm sure) worried about it0

Im working for a-major-property-website-thats-not-rightmove
I basically am brought in to sell home information packs! And what a shambles that is ! So its really really boring, and we have NO work to do, and when we do have work its data entry that makes me eyes square and makes me lose the will to live.
I dont know what I want to do really. Ive thought about mortgage broking, which isnt a bad idea, but doenst exactly fill me with heightened excitement. I think I want to do something involving housing ( not property IYSWIM) maybe Ill go back to the state sector. Although it did kill me being throttled by red tape. Whatever it is, I need to do it FAIRLY soon, so I can think about working somewhere long enough to get proper maternity leave
Im waiting for martin to start paying me for my posts LOL if I got 2 quid per post Id be on the same money as IM on now LOL:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
