    Hey FF69! :hello:

WELL DONE on losing 3 stone and giving up the evil fags. Brill!

Come on you can do it - getting back into DFW ways....perhaps you need to join a challenge or two to get you back into the swing of things.

And have you resurrected the spending diary by the way?

    Good luck FF!

Likewise Lynz! :hello: Have been hanging about on the confetti forum but have to pop back every now and again so I don't get all caught up with the extravagance on there.

    How's it going with you?

the confetti forum bothers me   I need no encouragement to get into my Bridezilla mode so am avoiding al wedding planning until I can trust myself not to turn into a psycho. Who knows when that will be  I considered spending best part of a fiver on "essex bride" the other day. then I clocked myself, wondered WTH im turning into and legged it out of the newsagents :o :rotfl:

Yeah Im good. I'm back at work ( new job- its awful, but hey, im there, and getting paid and my team are nice) spending way more than I should be so trying to rein myself in. Ive had a few v shaky months tbh, feeling very alone with a stack of money ( from selling the flat) scared and quite strange feeling. Ive been moneysaving of course, but still spending a wedge I shouldnt touch.

Back on the bandwagon again tho, me & oh are aiming to make 1k on dezies challenge, and with a touch of luck this should clear OHs barclaycard and get rid. Finally I think OH is seeing the light of extra money making ;) and understanding the card CAN go with some serious efforts. He's loving his job, house is good, everythings good really now! What a far cry from this time last year eh!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Yeah, it's all a bit frightening isn't it  I just look at people's pictures and [STRIKE]nick their ideas[/STRIKE] appreciate their weddings.... I'm too committed to this site though to get all carried away. Somethings about DFW never leave you

I bought a few magazines but at a fiver a pop for essentially the same thing in all of them I gave that up as a mug's game! My friends tell me that I'm being deeply un-bridezilla at the mo, but that's because I spend my whole time grumbling like an old man about the price of everything W related ;)

So glad things are working out for you and OH, Lynz. You both really went through it but have come out the other end. I bet you're not spending as much money as you would have in the old days  but can see how it might be weird getting used to not watching every single penny.

What am I like, fishy's only been back five mins and already I'm hijacking her thread BUT now you come to mention it, where is scottishspendaholic??? I know El's still about as we keep missing each other online!

I cant believe the price of W related gear TBH. I only really look on confetti at the reductions corner LOL and of course enter the comps to see if I can get something for nothing. the price of sugared almonds and disposable cameras eh, and some people blindly pay it. My guests will be lucky if they get fed at all :rotfl: I could stretch to 8p noodles tho- if forced.

OH said, yourjust not as romantic as you used to be  I tihnk he means Im just too tight now. :o I used to be so carefree
