    Recommendation Bazey?

Actually celebs use pile cream under their eyes for eye bags. It thins the skin apparently but i'm not even tempted to try it.

Ive tried all sorts over the years. Boots P&P and the Aldi equivalent was good for a time but it gave me blocked pores. Most moisturisers give me open pores. Regular exfoliation has made the most difference to my face but as a result I do have patches of hyper pigmentation which means I need foundation to look half decent. Physical sunscreens gives me both blocked and open pores. Foundation sits well on my skin but the only foundation that suits me is Estee Lauder Double Wear but at almost £30 a bottle that wouldn't last me that long if I wore it every day, I tend to use it only when I go out.

Ive tried that snake stuff too and I couldn't see any difference.

Facial excercises make the most difference for me.....That's when I think about it. I tend to do them when I am in the bath but i'm trying to have more showers so my usual routine has flown out the window.

I'm getting good results with a powder illuminator at the moment over my foundation.
Doesn't the powder settle in the lines though? Not saying you have any lines, but wouldn't it settle for those who have?
I think a lot of people do look years younger than they are, except me:( but I also think a lot of people have injectibles/laser/peels and don't fess up.

I'm 35 and look very young for my age, I wonder if it will all just hit me one day and I'll wake up looking like a prune.

We should have a thread saying 'guess the age' where we put pics up ;)

Strangely enough, no though most face powders do. I think its because of he light colour/illumination tbh.

I use Eve Lom daily cleanser, its the quicker alternative to its famous alter ego that you use the muslin cloth with. (its not cheap but it lasts ages)

    Also Kiehl moisturiser.

My new boss thought I was 28 - Im 40 in November - sent him to Specsavers LOL:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

38 and no hideously deep lines here except a crease alongside one of my eyebrows. My dad's got it in exactly the same place - I think we must wrinkle our foreheads the same way! On the other side of the family, my mum has very good skin, and I'm a bit tubby, so I think all of that has helped!

Other than that, I find that drinking lots of water helps my skin look healthier which makes things look better. I use Dermological moisturiser which is more expensive than the "standard" stuff but only a little more than the higher priced supermarket stuff / Boots products and I can really see a (bad) difference when I switch from that to something cheaper.

You post got me thinking. Agree about genetics playing a part but moisturising can work in two ways.

I don't know the science behind it but I was thinking of what we'd do on a sunshine holiday: you'd drink lots and put sun cream and after sun on your skin. So you'd be doing 'inner' and 'surface' hydration for your skin. So we do the same at home regardless of weather but using the same principle.

    Seems logical to me anyhow.;)
