Garnier youthful radiance day jour,i got it when it was on offer and I was feeling upset about having wrinkles,i didn't want anything with hormones in it,i get scared of things like that lol.

Anyway been using it for months and I think it's made a difference,i don't get much sleep so that doesn't help and it certainly freshens up my face and makes my skin look smoother.

Started using rosehip seed oil a few weeks back having never had any skin care regime and I must say my skin feels great and wrinkles "seem" less intense! Not a branded one either
Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.

My family have been using mashed potato as a dermal filler for years. The family medic tuts a but, but plump smiling gals have more fun...
  • My grandma used to swear by Boots cold cream. She had lovely skin. Her mum used to use it, too. It's a bit old fashioned but it's cheap :money:

Thanks all for the comments... I think when I next run out of cream I will try all of the above and report back :-)

What is the oil cleansing method?

I didn't develop a (sort of) skin care regime until I hit 40 when I thought I ought to start looking after my skin. Until then I would just scrub my face occasionally with a flannel and soap when it looked a bit dull, and maybe every three months or so I would apply a cheap peel-off face mask. Moisturising cream would last me a year or longer as I hardly used it. Once I hit 40 I decided to take more care of my skin but even now I just use a facial wash every 2/3 days and then apply moisturising lotion. I have some glycolic skin wipes which I use occasionally. However I have hardly any wrinkles and people usually think I am in my mid to late 30's (I am now 45). Oh, and I hardly drink any water - in fact I am terrible for drinking any liquid throughout the day :o. I think genes have played a big part as my mum is 80 and looks fantastic for her age, and she only uses soap and water!

Ive been using the Boots perfect and protect serum for about 10 years now.

I saw my Aunt who works for Clinique at the weekend and she said that I must be using the right skincare, as she reckons my skin looks 10 years younger than I am.

When I told her it was the boots stuff, she said that she had heard it was good.

I have just turned 39 and been told I look really young for my age, people sometimes think I am in my early to mid 20s - I personally dont think I look that young.

I cleanse with olive oil every night and often in the morning as well, I then use Aveeno with shea butter as my daily moisturiser

I did used to use Simple moisturiser but found that my skin was a bit too dry for it.

I think a lot of aging it genetics and also fairer skin tends to wrinkle quicker, one of my friends has beautiful translucent fine skin but she is tending to get wrinkles earlier than me, I have olive skin that is clear but isn't fine

Olay regenerist night cream works for me.

People take me to be ten years younger than I am so it must be a miracle cream!!
  • I've got some snake oil that is great for wrinkles ;)

Seriously though, do your research - many are bunkum and marketing hype - only a couple have actually passed any type of test to prove that they do actually make a difference and even then it probably wasn't conclusive it would work for everyone.
