Gpb solicitors llp closure

My partner and I have (had?) our Wills with GPB Solicitors. We wanted to change a small detail on them, so had them sent to us for signing and witnessing. The Wills are now in our house, and were just about to be sent back to GPB when we read they'd been closed down.
My question is: are the Wills that are still in our house valid? Would GPB still have a copy of our old Wills?

Of course they are valid. Wills don't have to be lodged with a solicitor, you can keep them in a shoebox under your bed if you like! It doesn't matter whether GPB have copies, the old will is rendered invalid simply by the existence of a newer one - wherever it might be!
