I forgot that i had ordered a naked delivery and that it migh just be my dad going to be in when it was delivered.Well we arrived just after the driver and my dad had started unloading and it was hilarious. My dad was stood in our hallway saying what the hells going on here,we havent got any bags.Whilst piling food up our stairs and all around himself lmao.He was in a right kerfuffle bless him.The driver was cracking up because my dad couldnt believe tesco had done this.I must admit it was harder than just taking the bags in the kitchen but i suppose its a little greener.Wasnt impressed with just 7 points though.
Oh well at least we all had a laugh at my house about it

so 47 carrier bags would go straight in the bin, I'd have no use for them.

Obviously not that worried bout saving the environment then

I picked bagless shopping last week.

I was ready with my environmental friendly bags at the door to transfer stuff into, but when the driver turned up all my shopping was in bags and he told me that our local Tesco's aren't doing it even when requested to as it was too much hassle.
Give me the boy until he's seven and i'll give you the man.

I wont be going for this naked milarky.I spoke to the driver about it last week and he says it takes double the time to offload, even though tesco only give them 7mins regardless,he also said they are continually runnin late for every delivery because of this, plus who in their right minds wants to have piles of shopping lying at their front door or in their kitchen.Ile stick to my bags and hand them back the following week.

Did it not occur to the brightsparks to just use less bags in the first place?

That would use up too much brain power, which they really need to conserve to come up with the next bright idea.Abit like their customers getting extra points for bringing their own bags to the store, well sorry but that only works if your prepared to put up with the wrath of the check out assistant,in other words how dare you ask for points pleb.
  • Have also just had shopping delivered bagless.

Took twice as long to empty out of trays as usual. Meanwhile Tescoman's van was running. How green is that!!

Tescoman also whinged a lot about not getting paid any more for bagless deliveries taking longer. Usually they're such a cheery breed.

Shopping all had to be picked up from hall floor, put in my laundry basket, moved to kitchen then put away. I'd ordered much more than usual to use my £20 off if you spend £150 voucher, so need a backache remedy now.

Naked delivery is great for me as I have a door straight into my kitchen from the drive. When I have bags I have to put them all over the floor so I have some workspace to sort it all out on, but now it is bagless I half sort it as I put it on the surface and it takes LOADS less time to put away.

So I for one, hope that they continue with this as an option, although the general feedback isn't too great.

I opted for a naked delivery today for my 6 1/3 bottles of wine courtesy of the wine discount. Each bottle came carefully wrapped in a carrier bag! They didn't even use a cardboard wine box which would have been better. Oh well. Actually my stock of carrier bags is getting dangerously low. I do use them for my rubbish bin etc. So in the end I was grateful to have them.
