Naked Delivery from Tesco!

Hi, I've just had an email from Tesco saying they are now offering Tesco home deliveries without bags. You will get 1 green point per 10 items (but not loose items like carrots;) ) and things like bleach and unwrapped veg/fruit will still go in bags.
Hope this is nationwide rather than local, it has taken a long time but at least they are starting to reduce packaging.

Blimey, I've just had my shopping delivered without bags and I won't be doing it again!
They just bring all your food in the large plastic boxes, I was rushing to empty them so the driver could leave.
The food was all over the place.
At least with your bags you can put your food away at leisure.

I got all excited then too... the prospect off naked delivery drivers!!! I'd be getting my shopping delivered daily!!!:rotfl:

In a delivery I had the other week half my shopping wasn't in bags anyway and in some bags there was only 1 item!

we did this last week after getting the email, the delivery driver was not best pleased and said Ill leave the stuff in the crates and pick them up next time Im here, apparently they had loads of people doing the bagless deliveries and it was driving him up the wall :rolleyes: perhaps if they didnt use so many carrier bags we wouldnt all rush to have the shopping without them!

Blimey just had my shopping delivered for the first time without bags....not too sure I will be doing it again....had a hall full of Groceries!!!

If it is Tesco's they will not be thinking GREEN, more likely saving a few pennies on carrier bags.:rolleyes:

i got my items delivered with this option this week. Definatley recommend it. The drivers are also given extra time to offload your goods.
