I thought about this discussion when I received an email from Easyjet, about their sale, which contains the following:

So, nothing in this thread has shown any evidence that Easyjet are getting greedy. They have never been a charity, they have always been a business. And they are competing in a very competitive market.0

competitive market my !!!,and a charity they possibly they are,u been to charity shop recently they are pricing themselves out f the market as well with their overinflated prices!!0 -
So fly with somebody else if you think their prices are too high. If enough people do that the prices will come down. I really fail to see what the issue is, much less why it deserves a thread in here.0
