I just got an e-mail from Novotel telling me to ring a number to 'claim my voucher'. I won a free stay so i don't know if this is just for overnight stay winners or everyone? Has anyone else got this e-mail?

I won a three course meal and have just got this- going to ring now as I am going tonight- will let you know what they say

I'm at work and can't ring! Being cheeky but can you ask if people need to call that number to organise the free stays too?

Well, I've just made my phonecall and was told meals will only be honoured with the voucher they are going to email. I won 2 prizes (free meal and buy one, get one for £1) and they had to verify this with the manager and tried to refuse one prize and only give me one of the two. They cannot guarantee I will get the voucher before my meal tonight- (I quote "I will try") although it should be issued within 24 hours. The customer service is pretty poor- constantly putting me on hold without telling me so I thought the line was dead. Those with an overnight stay DO need to ring though if you have received the email- if you have won legitimately, you will get this winners email they say.

I'm not sure to be honest- it sounds like a make shift call centre as my person paused each time before he said Novotel like he was trying to remind himself!

I have just phoned and didn't have any trouble he confirmed from his database I had won a meal for two he wanted to know which hotel I would be using the voucher for and said the voucher will be with me in 24 hours - we shall wait and see.
I have also won a free nights stay which I asked him about he said when I have a date for a reservation to ring them back and they will make it. So doesn't sound like we are getting a voucher for the stay.

As far as I remember I only won a free cocktail on the spin to win, so wasnt going to pursue it, but I have had this email too. Have I possibly won more than I thought, or is it just that?
