I've sent them an email.
They haven't responded yet.
Am thinking that maybe they hoped I was just having a rant and will go away quietly. Will give them a couple more days and, if not heard by then, send another one...so they know I do indeed to have compensation for it.0 -
Many of the people who you've sent a pm to seem convinced it was stolen by them - so you'd think the firm would like also see that that is also likely what happened.
Bad form for them not to have replied at all yet, even if they'd sent a holding email to say they would look in to it, or check to see if the item(s) had been accidentally left in the vehicle.
If your email was a bit 'ranty' maybe follow it up with another email now just to reiterate that you expect the item to be returned or compensation paid.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
I still don't understand why you haven't reported it to the police? All you are doing is giving the removals time to get rid of whatever it was that was stolen. And presumably the best outcome would be the item returned not compensation?0

Get a PM... not really a police matter as such - and not something they would sell on.

If you're sure about missing your items so do complain against the moving team but first do proper research because may be you lost that thing while packing.0

The items in question are not the kind of thing you would easily misplace.
Now I know what they are, I would agree that the most likely scenario is that they were stolen.0 -
