It might just be me but going to the toilet has always been a solo activity. I think people in a queue for the toilet would be perturbed if more than one person came out (except two women of course).

As I said previously: "When have you ever seen a long queue of people outside a disabled toilet?"

Do you actually read other posts in a thread before posting?

I sense that other thread has soured our forum relationship as you seem to hold a grudge with me. It may be sensible for us to terminate our forum relationship and not bother interacting with each other. I'm sure we don't have to revert to the ignore button :)

You are doing exactly the same as you did in the other thread. You are trying to get a reaction, and there is a name for people who do this.
  • Having caught food poisoning from a weatherspoons on Tuesday night it's a chain I will avoid in the future
  • Wetherspoons have their faults but for a cheap night out its ok.

A lot of their menu is now 'Meal + Drink' which helps, there are some things like their Gourmet Burgers which aren't worth it above the Classic Burger but generally its acceptable fodder.

The only complaints I tend to see a lot is where a pub is turned into a Wetherspoons as they do tend to be a bit samey....

    No I haven't had a sheltered life.

I think you are talking about clubbers. I was talking more about the weekday and daytime clientele that a very cheap pub often attracts in some areas. So I was talking more about people shooting up, rather than snorting a line. And as many of those who shoot up use prostitution to fund their habit, then they often want somewhere private for their daytime clients to have sex with them.

Clubbers on the other hand often couldn't care less.

I have had it in pubs as well - though to be fair it was a bit worse in the studenty/bohemian/rock side than in other pubs but the big chains in the city centre came close.
I also remember in our skuzzy local while I was playing pool with my mates, a local junkie girl who we had been at school with a couple of years before was giving handjobs in the gents to get cash. That was about 30 years ago though.

So a man can't help his wife? In the past, I've had to help friends put their trousers back on (with a scream of "aargh wedgie" afterwards lol)

True my GF is a carer and has had to accompany people into the toilets as part of her job.

I've been to wetherspoons on curry night recently and for a couple of weeks they haven't had any naan breads. I asked why I wasn't told when I ordered and they said they had ran out so gave me extra poppadoms. The following week went to curry night and ordered our meals and the same thing happened again, no naan breads. I wasn't told when I ordered that anything was out of stock. So was given extra poppadoms. This time I said I don't want extra poppadoms I would rather have a samosa. Who wants 4 poppadoms. I was told no you can't have these because they are too expensive. This got my back up so I contacted their customer services about the problem. They said all wetherspoons have had naan breads withdrawn as the don't meet the standards that they require and have told all pubs to give out extra poppadoms in its place. The customer services lady was very rude and basically said we'll it says in our T&C that we can replace things that are out of stock if they like. I said surely you need to make me aware of this at the time of ordering. She said the have sent posters out to their pubs but nothing was displayed in the pub I go to. She talked to me like I was lying and couldn't give a stuff. I was prepared to let this go for 1 week but on the 2nd week the same thing is a joke.

I think you're better off starting a new thread as in my experience important complaints like this get lost when they're tacked onto an existing complaint.

They must have got them in now. I went there about 2 weeks ago and it was then and the previous week that this happened. Only got a response from wetherspoons this week, that's why I am commenting on it.
