That is shocking! Hope you complained!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
I entered a competition hoping to win the runner up prize, which was a £50 Primark voucher. Instead I won the first prize, which was "a signed Justin Bieber print for one lucky winner to put on their wall, kiss, pretend it’s their boyfriend or do whatever they want with." Why isn't there a vomiting smiley?0

I also once won a bunch of flowers and when they arrived half of the flowers were wilting and they didn't last two days!
I have never complained though - sometimes I think it is a bit cheeky to complain as I got the prize for free but then if I tweeted daily and entered via a rafflecopter, I feel hard done by as I put more effort into winning. If you know what I mean!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
Oh, and the muddy wellies!
From Facebook, they thought sending the 'actual photoshoot' wellies covered in mud would be a good idea... They smelt and were 2 sizes too small! (Didn't even mention that!) (or clean them!)
Complained, they sent a t-shirt as a 'compensation' 2 sizes too big than I requested.
So I no longer have anything to do with that company!December Wins: £300 worth of board games, £500 Tesco Vouchers Best Win in 2023: £500 Tesco Vouchers0 -
No a competition that I have actually won, but I was disappointed when I clicked the link to enter this one:-

The title said "Win a fantastic painting and decorating package from Adorn". I was daydreaming about how this "package" would be someone coming to my home to decorate a room or something, so I was disappointed to find the prize is some brushes, a dust sheet and some masking tape. Hardly what I would describe as a fantastic painting and decorating package. Especially since it is a competition run by Period Living and they normally offer good prizes.0 -

LOL I agree and I too have misread comp titles and thought the prize was something completely different to what it really was!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

:eek: Muddy wellies!!! OMG I cannot believe a company do that! I bet they sent the over-sized t-shirt to you out of spite! Glad you don't have anything to do with them! Maybe we should start a thread the 'rate or slate' companies with regard to their prizes!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -
I must be really lucky or very easily pleased :rotfl:
So far I've not been disappointed with anything I have won. Though did have trouble getting a prize once. Got it in the end though!

Mine is the pukka Ayurveda firming face oil.
The image used on the website page running the competition (for which this was the prize) showed a full size pack.
Through the door came a small card size pink envelope with a 2ml sachet attached to a postcard giving £3 off...
When I looked at the competition page it didn't actually say anything about the size of the prize...
I still haven't gotten around to using it, such was my disappointment.

A solitary squashed penguin biscuit.
Also disappointed with the Higgidy cool bag picnic, I really wanted to win one as they sounded great and would have gone for a nice picnic. But I've spent ages looking for all the items in all different supermarkets and not been able to find them anywhere so just spent ages on it for nothing but a fairly average coolbag! Many thanks to everyone who posts competitions and works so hard to provide all the answers!
Best wins this year so far: £100 Hobbycraft Voucher, £50 cash, GoPro Camera0
