A few years ago, I won some hand-made bath bombs from a company on Facebook. I was really chuffed because I loved bath bombs and often bought them from the Body Shop - especially the ones that fizz and tickle you as they bob around and shrink :rotfl:

Anyway, that evening I decided to try one of my prize bath bombs so I ran a hot bath, hopped in and dropped the biggest bomb between my legs BUT how disappointed was I when it just sank like a submarine and began melting into a big sloppy dollop of gunk! After five minutes I could see grease floating on the water and my skin felt oily and yuk!:eek::eek: And to make matters worse, the silly little petal pieces from the bath bomb had dispersed and were clinging to the sides of the bath and on to my skin too - so I looked like a bush!! :(:( WHAT A NIGHTMARE! I had to get out and use a body scrub in the shower to get the stuff off me and the bath was a nightmare to clean! I never did give feedback to the company - maybe I should have!? I just unliked the page and threw the rest of the bombs away! Not nice! :(

Sort of along the same line, the prize I have been most shocked by was a tennis prize I won, it said it came with some water, even the delivery man was shocked when he had to deliver me 20 crates of water...(24 bottle's is each crate)...lol, needless to say my family got quite a few of them...hehehe

I was really disappointed with the picnic hamper I won in the summer, it was stated to be worth £80 and be filled with loads of cartons of juice plus crockery, cutlery etc - when it came it was the flimsiest wicker basket ever and all it had in other than the juice was 6 small plastic plates.

Other than that, not really had a disappointing win yet!

I had two crates of Tango plus a load of chocolate arrive the day I was due to go to the dentist after avoiding him for quite some time....I was sat there listening to him telling me all about how bad sugar and fizzy drinks are, feeling guilty about what was waiting for me back at home! :D Kind of ruined my enjoyment of the prize...for a few days at least!

None. I don't win enough to be disappointed, as a rule, and any I don't want either go to friends or the charity shop where they can do some good.
Maybe I've been lucky, but I don't think I've had a "bad" prize.

A photo caption competition won me VI.P. Tickets to some Hip Hop event in London. I never made it there for some reason. ;)

    Diet Pills.

I didn't even enter for them... They were a runner up prize!

    :(

But, I've been more than happy with Everything else I have won :)

  • I won a mystery box of prizes and was really excited when the postman turned up with Harrods box then I opened it and found some used avon nail polish and a DVD that still had the security tag on so I couldn't open it to watch it. :(
  • "mystery prize" which turned out to be a tiny sponge van with the company name on it. :(
