Hi ladies.
I last posted on thread 9 back in April. Since then nothing has changed
To give a bit of background, I came off the pill last November and since then have had four AFs. Longest cycle 87 days... Am now on day 60- something of this cycle and BFN when I tested on Wednesday. Cycles were a textbook 28 days before the pill. I HATE the pill and will never ever put that poison in my body again.
Am thinking of booking a drs app as it's nearly been a year of trying. When I last went back in April they just told me to wait, that my cycles might take a year to go back to normal. Well it's been a year and they're still not.
Me and OH got married last month and everyone keeps asking when we're going to start trying, and I say 'oh, maybe next year' and truth is it's been a year already and not even a sniff. Every time I get a BFN I almost break down and I'm so scared this will never happen for us. Even oh is starting to ask why it might be taking so long. I feel broken.0 -

((hugs)) I know how u feel.... its so hard when u really feel you are getting nowhere!Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -
Just a happy update: Back from the doctor's office. External and internal exam found that cervix is closed tightly and everything seems to have sorted itself. Can't get a scan yet, because they won't be able to find it (it's tiny, I'm not), but the doctor did say that I could request an early scan due to this once I've had my appointment with the midwife.
I hate leaving you again, but I couldn't go without giving an update. I'm going to keep stalking this thread, and I really do hope everyone on here gets their bfp's soon!0 -
Really pleased for you Mrs TM. Was it the walk in centre you went to? Hope everything goes ok when you have your scan and here's to a healthy 9 months xxx0
-
Yep. The walk-in centre is where I'm registered, and they made me an appointment so I wouldn't need to wait so long. It was actually busier than I thought a Sunday night would be! We ended up getting a taxi down there, walking to the Boots down on Wessex street, then walking down St. Stephens and getting a bit more cash and another taxi home. I still don't like taxi's, but it was better than walking a mile and a half in a skirt in that wind!0

It's not one of the surgeries I work from but have been there once myself on New Year's Day and they were good then, really glad they were helpful. Blimey you did a fair bit of walking, especially in this weather. My parents were in the city yesterday and said it was really busy in general.0 -
oh that's the best news Mrs T MRemember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0
