Good luck mrs TM I've everything crossed for you.

I'm on both threads too, and think they both have their uses!

    Cwtw hugs or spotting/early af.
  • Still lurking.... Danielle - The starting part is easy lol.... just come off contraception and start baby dancing quick smart :j:j
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?
  • So much sad news this week! Big hugs to everyone who needs them.

Well AF is due on 29th according to FF & other apps I've found so technically I could test from tomorrow. It's OHs bday on Monday & he said he would like me to test then so think I will hold off til then. Just have a feeling this isn't going to be our month although I haven't felt anything at all like last month (no feeling nauseous, stomach pains) but I have been extra emotional - I never EVER cry but have been tearing up at the stupidest things this week! Fingers crossed it will be our time but like I said, I have a feeling its not.

Hope everything is okay with everyone & baby dust all round. Early bed for me tonight as I have a christening tomorrow so get to be around lots of babies! Can't help but be so jealous.

    Xx
  • Fingers and toes crossed for you loudfish, am feeling jealous today :0(
Bumped into my cousin who is 8mths pregnant and then had friend round all evening who is also 8mths gone.

If things had worked out I'd be 18wks by now.

Know time we've been trying is a drop in the ocean compared to some but really starting to get to me already...

Hugs bigmomma, sorry that you're friend was so insensetive towards you.

and hugs to credit crunch for having a uti at an inconvenient time, well for having a uti at all really, not pleasant.

Mrs T M. Fingers crossed everything will still turn out OK for you and your baby. I didn't mention earlier as it would have been insensetive if you were definitely miscarrying but as the doctors think it may only be a slight bleed I'll tell you what happened to me with DS1 as it may reassure you:
When I was 9 weeks with DS1 I had bleeding and stong pains in my abdomen, the bleeding wasn't very heavy but it was red. I went to A&E and they tested my hcg levels, they confirmed I had definitely been pregnant but couldn't guarantee I still was as the hormone could show for a while, so I had to go back for blood test and scan 2 days later. They were worried that it may be an ectopic pregnancy too.
On the day of the scan they had to do the blood tests again as if the hcg level was too low there would have been no point in the scan. The doctor decided the level was high enough and I had the scan. DS1 was fine, the size of a little kidney bean with a heartbeat and little buds for hands and legs. I then went back to see the doctor and they confirmed everything was fine and that I may still bleed and have pain but not to worry unless the bleeding got very heavy. They told me that some women can bleed their whole pregnancy.
I did continue to bleed for a few more weeks on and off, but DS1 was born perfectly healthy (despite more complications unrelated to the bleeding) and is perfectly healthy now. The important thing is that you rest.

Kellykins - I can't help but symptom spot, I know I shouldn't as it will probably make it even more disapointing when AF arrives. Unusually sore boobs is a pretty good symptom though, I know a fair few ladies who suffered with painful boobs in early pregnancy.

Hugs to everybody else that is feeling down too. I hope there's some good news for as many ladies as possible soon x
  • lollypopswater thank you :) my sister-in-law is 5 months pregnant just now & I can't help but be jealous lol seems like babies are everywhere atm!

Just been woken up by hubbys best friend who phoned saying he HAD to talk to him & when couldn't get a taxi to him as he has had a few beers he shows up at our door with 2 bottles of vodka in hand after driving to ours! Safe to say cars keys have been confiscated & coych has been made up. First thought we had though was oh god who has he got pg?! It was that kind of phonecall, OH is with him just now & I hope that's not what he came to say - not cause I'd be jealous, I mean obviously I would but more because hes not in a stabe relationship & the girl hes with atm is only 18!

Trust it to be the one night I fancy an early one that drama lands on my doorstep!

    Xx
