I don't have time to do a proper post right now, I'll do one tomorrow. Just wanted to say super sorry to ClareBear for not replying to your post. I'm afraid I didn't see it and as a newbie I wouldn't have been much help anyway. I hope you're feeling better now and I hope you decide to stay.

Welcome Cookiee nice to see you move over from WTT.

    Thanks codemonkey for the lists.

Can i ask what told you you weren't producing follies/actually ovulating ?? Progesterone levels ? I've had all my blood work (day 21 and day 3) back with normal levels, and now my gynae wants me to do that scan were they use dye to check that the tubes aren't blocked (can't remember the proper name !). I reeeeallly dont want to do it, i'm not sure why but i find the idea terrifying :(

I'm hoping i can avoid doing it. OH has his SA on tuesday, do you think that the doctors will demand me to do this scan for us to be referred further on for fertility treatment ?? I'm not sure why this scan petrifies me so much ! I even had a nightmare about it last night ! I think it's just the stress of all these tests getting to me.

Hope you're all well anyway :) and congrats Mrs TM

Basically have have been TTC for a good number of years and have very pcos ovaries, I don't have any sort of normal cycle and have never had any signs of ov. Also with being on injections I have had a lot of cycle moinitoring which showed, no follie and no real activity for a month. If you do ov you would get af but I dont, my lining just comes away after its built up to much:o I never have cd21 bloods as I have no cd.

The scan your talking about is an hsg, iv'e had 2 :o there not the most fun but there over very quickly , imo there not to different to a smear test and very worth it as its outcome can chage the course of treatment. We had to have the hsg before moving onto the injections but had one previously as I was at quite aa high risk of blocked tubes.

Please try not to worry about the hsg,its just something we have to go through in order to find out what the best treatment is for us.
  • Clare Bear sorry you were feeling ignored, I thanked your post at the time to thank you for sharing your information but was unable to answer your question and din't want to make an uneducated guess. I hope you decide to stay on the thread.

Sweaty Betty I hope the memorial service today was helpful for you.

    Welcome Cookiee.

I'm definitely going to have to get off the train a stop early tomorrow. Invited MIL over for Sunday dinner, and got a big leg of lamb thinking it would be mostly bone - it wasn't and we ended up with huge portions - totally stuffed now. I really need to learn portion control if I'm to lower my BMI from Obese!

Hugs to all those in need.

Hi AquamarineMonkey, I am also classified as obese and have a bmi of 38 BUT it used to be 42 so it's going down. I really struggle and knowing that my consultant is on my case everytime I see him about my weight wants to slap him with a big stick.

Are you doing a weightloss program? I did WW but it did not work. Only worked when I had mouth surgery and lost 1/2 stone by not being able to eat solid food! ha ha

Hi Wangdoodle nice to see you on this board :-D

Hi Wangdoodle nice to see you on this board :-D

I'm not doing an official weight loss programme, I'm just trying to exercise a bit more because I'd got to the stage where I wasn't really exercising at all and prior to DS1 I used to exercise a few times a week. I'm starting gently with walking hoping to build up to running again. DS1 loves playing chase so it would help with that too!

I also eat alot of junk, there's always cakes or sweets in my office and OH and I have takeaways or eat out more often than we should.

I'm hoping that by just being a bit more active and eating healthier but not dieting that the pounds will come off. I don't have scales at home so it's hard to tell. My chin was starting to disappear into my neck and it's starting to look a bit more defined now so I think it's working. My stomach seems a bit smaller too but that might all be in my head lol. X

  • Thanks for the lists codemonkey :)

Well I'm 2DPO and once again feeling nauseous and other pregnancy-type symptoms. It's way too early to actually be that and as this has happened the last few months I know it's not an indicator. Hoping that the tests I'm having might pinpoint a reason for this because its so frustrating.

Is it not just high progesterone betty? I know a lot of early pg symptoms are caused by the rising progesterone and after you ov your progesterone is higher. It might just be that you're more sensitive to progesterone than you used to be.
