Thanks for doing the list code.
Hugs to anyone that needs one.
I'm due AF Tuesday and I'm desperate to test but not going to unless I'm actually late. Fed up of seeing BFN plus the expense as don't have any cheapies left. Don't feel any different though so very much expecting AF to arrive. How do we do this to ourselves every month?
How is everyone? Can't believe we are nearly half way through October and people are well and truly talking Christmas, so scary where this year has gone.0 -

Can i ask what told you you weren't producing follies/actually ovulating ?? Progesterone levels ? I've had all my blood work (day 21 and day 3) back with normal levels, and now my gynae wants me to do that scan were they use dye to check that the tubes aren't blocked (can't remember the proper name !). I reeeeallly dont want to do it, i'm not sure why but i find the idea terrifying
I'm hoping i can avoid doing it. OH has his SA on tuesday, do you think that the doctors will demand me to do this scan for us to be referred further on for fertility treatment ?? I'm not sure why this scan petrifies me so much ! I even had a nightmare about it last night ! I think it's just the stress of all these tests getting to me.
Hope you're all well anywayand congrats Mrs TM

ugh, my kajungas are hurting and DH insists on honka honking them.
Just been to my dad's birthday party which was lovely until he fell down the stairs - he's 80 so things like that are a bit alarming. He seems ok though. Then the chavvy element of the family came over and ruined things so we left (we haven't really been talking since my brother tried to ruin my wedding and DH got fed up with me being stressed about it all and called them chavs).
Feeling a bit meh now.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
This year has flown past, and to be honest I can't wait until it's over, to start a new year afresh.
I'm not a xmasy kind of person, as there's no kids in our family so it's kind of lost its speciality. We don't really do presents for each other as there's nothing we really want and no point in spending money on rubbish. We usually do a little stocking for each other, I have started his stocking as its hard to get meaningful presents for him. So far I've got him a Dinky Model of a mini as he collects them, I'm respraying a model mini so its the colour of his mini with his registration plate, and I've got him a 1940's OS map of his home town as he loves maps and it will also look lovely in our classic car.
This year has been a weird one, so tough, but instead I've lived my life. We sold our practical car and have a fun one each instead which I did up myself from wrecks, and our classic car. And also doing up another classic car. No idea where a baby seat will fit in them one day, but thought it was about time to live our lives and have fun.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -

I know what you mean. My grandad passed away this year but I got married so it's been a real mix. I do always like starting a new year though.
I love classical cars, well just cars in general. When we were in America on Honeymoon I was just staring at all of the cars from the 50/60s as I think there beautiful. I have to drive something very practical unfortunately as I'm a district nurse. I feel why wait for something you really want, you can have a re-think when baby cones along.0 -

Absolutely. You can always just buy a fabulous pram and walk everywhere. I've actually decided not to put anything off til I get pregnant, because realistically, it's not going to happen any time soon, if ever. I've been putting off finding another job because the maternity leave in my job is excellent, but I'm starting to think there's no reason to stay in a job I hate waiting to use a benefit I might never need.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Yes exactly Disney_pluto, I got fed up with putting the fun things off while ttc. I had a 5 door, economic car as it made sense for family life. Now I love driving my little 1989 mini, and my 60's classic. We have spent much of this summer going to car shows and having a great time.
I love classic cars, and have been taught so much this year. When I bought the mini it had been off the road for 10 years. With some help (ok a lot) from my dad, its back on the road.
But in the end my husband works at the bottom of our road so doesn't need to drive and I am self employed, so work from home and my parents' house. So if there's a problem with the car it really doesn't mater, I just go later on. As long as its reliable and gets me to the farm shop once a week I'm happy.
And it's put something back into our lives that isn't just ttc. It's reduced the stress so much.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
Hi ladies can I come and join you? I am moving over from the WTTC to your lovely board and look forward to joining you all on our path to being parents :-D
I am not clued up on the lingo or abbreviations so would be grateful if you could point me in the direction on what they are etc etc...
It feels so strange to think we will be trying to get pregnant after 17 yrs trying not to lol
Little about us. I am 33 and OH is 40. Have been together 17.5yrs (my first partner and only partner in all sense of the word) and we have been married 4.5yrs. I have PCOS plus endometriosis so know my chances are going to be difficult but I am a stubborn moo and know that with lots of support from OH, family, friends and you ladies I will get that BFP x
Look forward to getting to know you all x Lv Cookiee x0 -
Welcome Cookiee.
Would you like to join our front page and daily lists?
For the front page we need something like
Cookiee TTC#1(?) since whenever you started.
And for the daily lists all I need to know is what Cycle day (CD) you're currently on.
This post contains the list of abbreviations we commonly use, plus some more information which you might find handy.
Feel free to ask whatever you want - nothing is off limits or TMI.
Hope you're here for a short time (in the best possible way).Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
