I think I am going to pounce on OH on some strategic days so we are properly trying again this month. We haven't been officially trying since March, what with one thing and another. But we're coming to two years ttc, and I'm getting impatient. Trouble is, my cycles are all over the place, so we'll have to bd A LOT! :rotfl:

Thanks for updating the lists Codemonkey.

I'm feeling back on track for this month, managed to BD again this morning, and will hopefully get a chance tomorrow evening, and according to the online predictors I should ovulate on Tuesday 15th.
Unfortunately OH won't be home that day, but hopefully we will also be BDing on Monday and should be able to BD on Weds and Thurs and possibly Friday. That should cover it!
The online ovulation predictoe says my conception window is 12th to 20th.

I wanted a 3 year or less gap between DS1 and a sibling, it's going to be over 3 years now because I wasn't ready to start trying again until last month, but I'm just hoping it doesn't get as far as 4 as I'd like them to be close enough in age to play together. Also, from a convenience point of view I wanted to be on maternity leave when DS1 gets his free half days in nursery which is next September so I can take him and pick him up myself (I work full time) - which gives me 2 more months to conceive. It's like a miliraty operation.

OH is enjoying the TTC immensely. He's seen more action in the last 2 months than he has in the last 2 years :rotfl:

I was on course for that, but obviously not any more. Of course it doesn't matter in the long run, but I've been surprised how sad that's made me feel - I can't really make sense of it.

Please can I be updated to 1DPO?
I've used OPKs this month and, if the tests were right, I got a positive on CD12, so probably ovulated on CD13 - is this right? I'm hoping that the tests were right, as this would mean that I did ovulate (although my CD21 test will now probably be too late to detect ovulation as it's scheduled for CD23, which will be 10 days after ovulation...). I'm going to keep testing just in case though

We are going to the hospital baby memorial service this afternoon. Not sure how I feel about it, think it might be a bit emotional.

Can I be updated to 4DPO please? I am not very well at the moment though, having migraine/vision issues since getting new glasses so been to opticians and doctors loads this week! Had to miss work two days as well so lost wages....:o

Seems to be getting better but not sure we have much chance of getting our BFP this month as I am pretty stressed and we didnt have loads of sex around ovulation time.

I am still taking the B6 though, my LP has been 10 days these last two cycles, hoping it gives me at least a 12/13 day LP!

I am not even bothering to buy pregnancy tests this month not even cheapies. I am not really bothered if I don't get pregnant this month, fed up of trying at the moment....

Will be thinking of you at the baby memorial service sweaty betty. I hope it is as nice a service as it can be in the circumstances.

One of my friends has recently had a baby with a 3 year gap. Another has just announced a pregnancy and it will be a 2 year gap. And another acquaintance has just announced a pregnancy with a 3 year gap, so I know the focus will be shifted back to me soon. My grandmother takes every available opportunity to tell me I'd be very selfish not to give DS1 a sibling. For a long time after having DS1 I was adamant that although I would like more children I would not be putting myself through that again (I had complications I won't go into on this thread as I wouldn't want to put any of the first time ladies off). But I love being a mummy so much and DS1 loves playing with other children so I decided that it is definitely worth it.

I know I'm lucky because I have DS1, so if I am unable to conceive again as a result of earlier complications it would be upsetting but I think I would accept in in time. OH has ruled out adoption as he only wants biological children. One of my friends has been trying for 2 years now without success and is now having the initial fertility appointments. This is another reason why I've not mentioned TTC to my friends because I am prone to whinging if things don't go my way and although it's not a competition it wouldn't be fair on her for me to be vocal about how I'm feeling infront of our friends, because however I'm feeling I'm sure she feels ten times worse. We have the same group of friends so every pregnancy announcement I've seen lately she has too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed we manage to get pregnant around the same time so we can share the journey with each other and have someone to meet up with on maternity leave!
