Morning all

Feeling a bit hopeless this morning - feel like my charting is starting to show no ovulation. I'm now on CD21 no sign of sustained temp rise ( temps are all over the place actually) and still no really positive OPK just days of nearly positives. Perhaps being I'll has delayed OV, or maybe I'll OV in the next few days, or maybe, and this is what is playing on my mind, I don't ovulate at all.

This is only our 3rd month of trying so I know we are new to this and need to give it a chance but I have to say I am a little bit worried now.

I know it is different for everyone, but I had no indications of ovulating and I was really worried that I wasn't...but I must have been! Like you I was only a couple of months in but I didn't get any temperature shift and I never got a full positive opk. Also never got any ewcm! I did lots of research into it and everything seemed to indicate that if your cycles are regular, it is pretty likely that you do ovulate even if you don't see the signs (obviously not everyone, but as a general rule). Are your cycles regular? Of course, I probably know no more than you and I am not saying I am an expert...but when I was worried I was not ovulating I did a LOT of googling! Also, have you recently come off hormonal contraceptives? If so it can take ages to ovulate after that, perhaps more than 3 months.

Try not to worry! There is not much you can do right now if you are not ovulating (though hopefully you are) but at least if you keep tracking etc you will be able to see if the are any patterns emerging.

Hi all, I'm currently 13dpo i really thought this month was it, i was getting a few symptoms such as really vivid dreams, cramps etc but ive tested last few days and all have been bfn so im pretty sure af will turn up tomorrow or day after, im sure my boobs have got a bit bigger though lol they aren't sore or anything so maybe im having a growing spurt at 26! lol still keeping my fingers crossed but think im out this month

Frankiloo, have you come off any contraception? depending on what it was it can take a few months for cycles to regulate again, if your worried though go and have a chat with your doctor its quite easy to miss ovulation with the opk's sometimes when i tested in morning it was negative, then a few hours later in aft it was a full blaring positive, i find if i dont test morn and aft i can sometimes miss it, although it does cost a fortune keep using so many tests!

Thanks both for your responses.

I've not been on any contraceptive for over 3 years more like 4 due to negative side effects of pretty much all of the possibilities!

I've also been doing OPKs 2, 3 sometimes 4 a day since they started to get a little darker but there has been no definite, surely I would have caught it by doing that?

My cycles are regular - if a little longer than average at 33 days and I also get a lot of breast pain prior to AF which I hear is a sign that you have ovulated?

I guess we'll just have to keep positive. I've been really ill and off work this week so that too could be throwing things out and causing me to worry more! There's still a chance I'll OV soon! PMA!
