Hi all
Had my op to remove the polyps this Wednesday and they did the dye test for my tubes too. Tubes are fine and now have been told to try for 6 months then come back. Fingers crossed. At home recovering with a sore tummy.

Hi Ladies,

I hope you don't mind my posting here - i just wanted to post a little something for you all that are TTC. I know some of you have managed to conceive at some point and miscarried previously - some are recurrent miscarriages.... i just wanted to post and tell you all to please, please push your doctors if you haven't already to test your thyroid function. I was asked to take part in the 'tablet trial' after having a recent miscarriage at 9-10 weeks and thankfully after having two lots of bloods, they've found that my thyroid is underactive and also tested positive for antibodies. These antibodies attack pregnancy and can cause miscarriage/early delivery. Not trying to scare anyone etc - just wanted to give you all some knowledge incase you didn't know this - up till this happened to me, i had no idea myself. I'd have likely carried on ttc and probably miscarried again..... This test will be something that can give you peace of mind..... my consultant is very sure this is what caused me to miscarry. I am seeing a consultant in a couple of weeks to start thyroxine so hopefully by getting on this, it might help me in future xx

It's a bit of fun where members try and guess how many positive pregnancy tests there will be in the given month. The number beside of the name is how many that person guessed.

Just catching up and I'm really sorry to hear about the sad losses


I got quite obsessive when I was ttc#1 so I am hoping not to this time ... just hoping we can dtd around estimate ovulation as my little girl sometimes doesn't sleep time after my dh goes to work


The one thing I did read was to dtd every other day as the little swimmers need to build their energy up - I am sure I read this on the nhs website too.


Fingers crossed for people testing this weekend - hope everyone has a good weekend xx

Could I be updated to CD2 please?

Not really sure what has gone on this month. I got another flashing smiley on my clearblue digital opks until AF arrived. My assumption is either I missed ov with the opks and maybe started testing 2 days after I ov'd or I haven't ov'd this month. Either way this is my shortest cycle for about 10 months (32 days), though I am not under any illusion that it will remain this way!

I do temp, but probably not effectively as I've only got a normal thermometer and I don't do it at exactly the same time every morning. Not sure what else to do to work out ov. Any suggestions ladies?
