Hi all

I'm going to be re-joining you following a missed miscarriage last week at 9+3 with triplets!

Had to have an erpc last Thurs as things stopped progressing at around 6-7 weeks and my stupid body wasn't doing what it was supposed to.

So, about me- I'm Gelly, 34 (turning 35 in Feb), TTC#1 since 11/12.

I don't feel like I should re-join the 12months + thread as we conceived on month 13 and it was just as we started investigations so it looks like we fortunately don't need to go down that route for now.

Wishing you all lots of luck in your journey, it's stressful but I'm certain it will be worth it.

Mrs TM and Gelly- hugs for you both though and so sorry to hear your sad news.

Well so typical- im cd8 and Im poorly, really hope its just a short bug and Ill be feeling better to dtd asap.

I got some cheap opks from Amazon but haven't used them properly yet- I may start using them properly next month- Im just waiting for my cycle to shorten a bit more then I may start using them.

CD2 here for me. The good news is the shorter cycle makes my dates for ovulation this month better in terms of OH's shifts.

Hugs to everyone who needs them. It's a hard road this.

Tink, can you let me know any symptoms or any weirdness from taking Clomid please, going to be starting in the next few weeks/months, depending on what happens with AF. Thanks x

I've added those that have requested it. We are getting ready to go to the hospital to pick up Dales hand prints and foot prints in a bit. I want to get the chaplain and the nurses/doctors/midwives a very nice thank you card as well before we go. This is definitely NOT what I wanted for my 29th birthday (today).

I have a follow up appointment in 6-8 weeks (have to wait for the letter to find out the exact date), so hopefully after that we can start trying again. I really hope that it doesn't take long to fall pregnant again, but I'm scared. I don't think I can go through this again.

Not a nice way to spend your birthday :-(. That is good that you have something to remember him with.

I know it won't make you feel any better but my cousin's wife went through something similar with her little boy. She fell pregnant again and had a lot of monitoring throughout and was obviously very worried but the hospital were great. She gave birth to twin girls last September.
