CONGRATULATIONS ALIPOPS!!! Best Christmas present ever0
-
Well here, I am so confused and fed up...temp dropped (slightly i think) this morning and FF has decided it doesn't think I ovulated on Day 21 after all?!?!?! I AM SO CONFUSED!
it has taken away my red lines and everything
no idea what this could mean, just drawing a blank. I was at least pleased that I seemed to be ovulating but now it has decided I didn't?! AAAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!
ETA - it doesn't help that our heating has broken - so I AM colder than normal! Wish I just hadn't done my temp today and I could have kept my nice red 'you ovulated, your body works' lines0 -
Congratulations Alipops hope you have a healthy and boring 9 months.
I'm loving all these Christmas BFPs.
Daisiegg unfortunately I don't have any experience with temping or even using FF so can't really help other than to offer hugs and maybe just take a step back rather than getting stressed by it all. As claire16c has said 8dpo is too early to test so enjoy this week.
AFM I'm desperate to do a test but DH won't let me until tomorrow. I'm currently 3 days late but not really got any 'classic' symptoms but I know we're all different.
I'll hopefully be able to pop on tomorrow to let you know either way.

Congrats Alipops!
I'm 8dpo really tempted to test Xmas day but know it's still too early!
Saw my 5 month old nephew at the weekend, he's soo cute and made me very broody! Really hope this is our last Xmas just the two of us!

Daisie, if your house is colder than normal, you will be colder than normal, so I'd discount this morning's temp, assume you ov'd when you thought you did, and see what tomorrow's looks like. Bear in mind that outside factors will make a difference to your body temperature. You can choose to ignore temps on FF. Plus, some people (me being one) just don't get along with temping. If you're looking for less variation you could try doing it vaginally. Also 8dpo is far too early to test (don't make me tell you off), so don't lose hope.
Congratulations alipops.
Shrimpy - thanks for the kind words. It means a lot. I hope 2014 brings you your BFP.
Sorry for the BFN Daniellenic.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Thanks everyone. Just a little bit of "experience" : I tested 8DPO and 10DPO and got BFNs. I had officially given up hope, when I got my BFP at 13DPO. It's very difficult not to test early, but if you do try not to give up hope! xx0

Oh, rubbishI am expecting mine on my birthday next week, which is nearly as bad as Christmas Day!
Still, merry Christmas everybody! Hubby and I are going to say a prayer at church tonight that this will be our last Christmas just the two of us....we are not particularly firm believers (holidays and high days only!) but we figured we may as well cover all bases :rotfl:
I am still hoping there will be a few more December BFPs, even if I am not destined to be one of them. And then the rest of us....2014 will be our year! Let's be positive
(Apologies for the sickening Christmas cheer....I am on the prosecco already!)

Thank youreally appreciate your comments. And I know 8DPO was too early to test...but that didn't stop me testing again today
negative of course and I did NOT tell hubby as he would tell me off! Might think about doing it vaginally. Only thing that puts me off is (sorry if tmi) what about during af? I wouldn't want to do it vaginally then but then surely you need the same temp taking method throughout the month for consistency? Hmm.
I tried to ignore the temp on FF but it is still saying I have not ovulatedjust see what happens over the next week I suppose. Once Christmas and new year are over my main goal needs to be losing weight. Looking ahead, I know if we do have trouble conceiving in the long term, the first thing a doctor would say would be that I need to lose weight.
Hope you are ok codemonkey and have a good Christmas x0
