I'm about 1/8 of the way through the 13 pounds of tomatoes. Removing the seeds is annoying, but seeds make sauces bitter, so it's worth doing. Oh, I'm also freezing, but I'm being stubborn and I'm not going to turn on the heat (no matter how much the bunnies beg and how cold my feet get!).

Filled the slow cooker crock with tomato flesh, strained the seeds out of the juice I saved, put about 1/2 cup in the slow cooker and turned it on. I have a feeling that this batch of pasta sauce will take a few days! I've not even gotten through half of the tomatoes yet!

Also, my resolve has completely crumbled. Not only did I turn the heat on in the living room (only!), I tested.

Dun duh da duh!



I am shaking! Haven't told DH yet, but he has requested pulled pork for dinner. How should I tell him?! Also, I really hope this one sticks. The last two that looked like positives didn't. I'm sticking around here until I can test a few more times and get it double checked at the GP's office. I'll definitely keep up with the front page (I'm not going to abandon you ladies!) and I can keep doing the lists for the moment if needed. In fact, I'd like to keep doing the lists until I can get this confirmed at the GP if that doesn't bother anyone.
