How exciting, so excited for you.

  • Wow Congratulations Mrs TM I'm so so pleased for you! Hope it sticks for you.

Quick question if anyone can help! I ovulated around 9 days ago and haven't stopped having CM and it hasn't changed. It's clear, slippery and there's still loads of it. It doesn't smell at all. It's never happened before is this something to worry about?

    How is everyone today?

I really am so pleased for you Mrs TM

Congrats mrs tm! The drs generally don't do tests because they're no different to the shop ones, I'd recommend using a clear blue and going with that! When you got what you thought was a positive before I remember it wasn't really clear I'm not sure I could even see it tbh, this looks very different! Just go and buy a proper test! X

I have a lone CB digital one, but I want to do that one with DH! I'm about to get dressed (still in my pj's!) and go out to keep out of the house for a bit and keep away from that test!!! :rotfl:

One of the charity shops near here sometimes has nice baby clothes and such and DH said that I couldn't buy any until we were expecting. I'm thinking about buying a gender neutral little outfit and finding a box to put it and the test in for him. I'll have the digital on in there and write a note saying that I saved it so we could do it 'together.'

Here I was thinking I was completely out this month because we only 'did' it once this ENTIRE month and I had spotting from 1DPO up until 2 days ago. I just hope that I don't get forced to have more tests and such because of my weight. I don't want anyone poking me!

I suppose the really good news is that I can stop trying to lose weight for a bit now. :o

Oh wow Mrs_T_M - that's fantastic news, really hope this is a sticky one for you.

Do come back later and tell us how it goes when you tell your hubby - we're all desperate to find out.

Over the moon for you both even though Mr_T_M doesn't yet know ;o)

  • Huge congratulations Mrs_T_M. Hope the CB test gives you the same result :)
When I found out I was expecting DS1 I told OH by telling him I was going to do the test, then popping to the bathroom, then re-emerging and showing him the stick because I was too shocked to speak. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Hope your scan goes well today Part Mouse.

De-lurking to say :j:j. Hope this is your time.

On the weight issue, pregnancy doesn't always mean weight gain. I have always been overweight & as I have shared before my BMI was around 35 when I got pg. I'm now 38 weeks pg & still about 7lb less than when I got my BFP. The weight loss was in the first couple of months & then I've stayed the same since. I was worried about the effect of my weight & pregnancy but the reality has been that it has probably been easier for me to carry as I haven't had additional weight.

That said, it's still uncomfortable at night as the 'weight' has obviously shifted to the front!

The only extra test I have had was the glucose test (seems to be standard with BMI over 30) which was no big deal. Also 2 extra scans to check growth.

    Good luck!
