    Hi All

Kellykins - Can I join the lists please, I'm CD1.

Well me saying the other day about being able to drink at my xmas parties I think has brought the dreaded witch 3 days early, this has never happened before so I think my body is giving me a break to actually go out and enjoy myself tonight.

Sorry I cant help you Loudfish, I have absolutely no idea.

Hugs to everyone who needs them.

Big Mamma - I hope you managed to relax a bit last night

Afternoon ladies. ... hope the lists are ok.. I was on a night shift.... so there may well be some mistakes!

Jay I will add you to the lists tomorrow x

Think pink... sorry you're having such a long wait for af. Have you recently come off the pill?? I waited a whole year for my af to arrive after taking the pill... I will never take the pill again.. they dont warn you of this when you go on it do they?? So frustrating. I stopped taking it a few years ago before ttc... but my periods have never gone back to how they were originally. Very unpredictable.

I havey works Christmas party tonight... cant wait for a night out. Work has been so stressful.

    Kel x x

Oh Part Mouse, I am not sure what that means (having come late to this party as it were!) but you sound miserable so sending hugs and best wishes xx

I am having a bizarrely gloomy day today, feeling really negative. I know it is ridiculous but I just have (and always have had) am overwhelmingly strong feeling that I am going to struggle to conceive. Is that crazy? I know it is. I was talking to my mum last night and she was saying how she fell pregnant first month each time she tried (four pregnancies). But she kept saying 'but I wasn't overweight, you are overweight so you might struggle' :( I am losing weight and I am not a giant beast :( and I think although my mum was not overweight the first time she fell pregnant I am pretty sure she was for the other pregnancies.

I have a really strong feeling that I am not going to ovulate, though I have no reason to think that. It is only CD11 and there is no sign of ov but I know that is perfectly normal especially as my last cycle was 30 days. But I still feel really antsy.

Sorry, also feel very guilty and stupid to be borrowing trouble and making up worries when loads of you on this thread have genuine reason to worry! I have no reason YET to think that I will not be able to conceive so why do I have such a crazy feeling of doom?! Did anyone else have this? Am I just a mental case?

    :(

Sending hugs to those that (genuinely, unlike me!) need them xx

Just a brief return - Daisie, I felt the same way as you, I'm not sure that's reassuring for you, given our situation, but our fertility issues are actually male factor infertility. Another of my relatives felt the same way but got pregnant relatively easily.

And if it does turn out that there's a problem with you, with women it's much easier to fix. Might be a couple of rounds of clomid, or IUI or even IVF, but the doctors will find a way to get you there.

Also, stressing about ov was a big thing for me, because my DH was a sex panda we needed to time it right, but I really noticed that stressing and worrying about ovulation made me actually not ovulate as my body is really sensitive to stress.

Thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to reply to my post :)

I think it doesn't help that my husband already has a child (albeit 18 years ago!) so any time I express concern about us conceiving he says (jokingly!) 'well we know my bits work!' I always try to remind him that he was a young whippersnapper when he made his child and he is a lot older now, and anyway I know he is only joking, but the implication that if we have any problems it will be my 'fault' is still upsetting :(

I think as well reading these threads probably really don't help. I have got it into my head that most women struggle to conceive because of what I am reading here. Statistically that can't be true though can it?

The comment about not ovulating due to stress is interesting. I am stressed in my job pretty much all the time so they does not bode well!

Thanks again for replying. Hope you are getting on ok.

No, it's not true. There's a 15-25% chance of getting pregnant in any cycle. 40% will succeed in the first 3 months and something like 85% will succeed within a year, so the odds are very much in your favour. It's just more likely that some of us will take longer, and will hang out on message boards stressing out the new people. :rotfl::rotfl:

Kellykins completely agree about pill. My cycles were bang on 28 days before I started taking it. When I stopped they were all over the place for about 18 months.
Please could I guess 7 BFP for December

Part Mouse sorry for the lack of follies but fingers crossed for Ov soon xx

daisiegg sorry you are feeling sad. I have those thoughts too so completely get where you are coming from. I could have written your post myself. If you are a mental case then so am I :rotfl: we can be mental together xx
