What a nightmare your having with the clinic Sweet Potato, a 200 mile round trip for a blood test is just stupid.


Nothing exciting in my world except since the witch arrived early, the app I used has brought everything forward so it means I 'think' I ovulate before the madness of xmas. Xmas is the worse time of year at work and extremely stressful so im not holding out much hope.

Ahh Jay - know what you mean - Christmas seems on paper to be the perfect time to be b'ding and making babies but in reality I'm usually a frazzled wreck with no energy whatsoever!

Well hubby arrived home luckily just before all the problems started with the airports this morning. CD13 now and FF reckons I am coming into a fertile period as cm became very watery overnight (so sorry for the tmi!) so we are going to be doing baby making activities with a vengeance. Also have got some of this http://www.balanceactiv.com/conceive/ from Boots as I thought everything can help!

For those who do opk tests - hope you don't mind a quick question. Does the line get darker over the few days prior to getting a positive result? I have been doing them since Tuesday and there was no line at all on Tuesday but a faint one by yesterday. Also, does anyone know how important it is to do them at the same time each day? The instructions are so vague - they say try to do the test at roughly the same time each day...that is not specific enough for me!

Daiseegg With the OPKs they will start faint and get darker and then when you are about to ovulate they will be just as or darker than the other line. Hope that helps?!

Don't know if anyone can help me. I think I got a TLP today on 2 different tests. One is the cheap one from Amazon with a very faint 2nd line and a Asda one which has a very faint 2nd line. I'm now 11 days late is it possible I'm not pregnant? Trying not to get my hopes up but my ever pessimistic husband even thinks I'm pregnant and he can see both lines in the tests. I will get some more tests today and do another tomorrow.
