Big hogs chocaholic sorry you're feeling carp :(

Thank you v much for your reply codemonkey I am very much aware that this probably won't happen quickly or easily for me. I hope I didn't come across as cocky, I am aware some of you ladies have been trying quite a while and I don't mean to offend anyone. Most of the time I'm terribly worried that I've left it all a bit late. I think I'm just feeling a bit protective of my little sister and I'm really good at finding things to worry about :o You're quite right though, I'm too far into this cycle to make any difference, and I'm pretty sure we didn't even do it at the right time so it won't be an issue. Thanks for your reassurance :)

Don't worry about causing offence. I hope it does happen quickly for you. Waiting and ttc for so long is soul-destroying and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Even us old-timers still have hope every month. I hope it goes well for your sister's scan.

  • Hi Mrs TM - for b6 I ordered 100 tablets of 50mg from amazon for £6. I figured I'd try with 50mg 1st and if that didn't do anything I could easily take 2 tablets in the morning. It's worked really well for me so far I've going from a 10 day lp to a 15 day lp last cycle so would definitely say its worth a try!

Ps Could you move me to the if in doubt zone please? 1st mth of cbfm which was low this morning, on holiday this wk so sure I can entice hubby to dtd a bit more than normal lol xx

Me too! I have very low abdominal cramps atm, and mine are normally a bit higher. I guess it is just the madness of being back on the TTC wagon :o

Hi there - had a really encouraging appointment with my gp today. I'm going for day 21 bloods, but can't get an appointment until day 25, will this be a problem do you think?

Sweaty, I'm so glad that you had a good appt, but I don't know about the blood tests.

Lolly, thank you for the B6 answer! :)

I woke up with DH this morning, saw him out the door, had breakfast, did the lists, and went back to bed! I slept from 10:30-nearly 3!!!

DH texted me saying that he's been having a pretty bad day today, so I'm thinking about doing baked "fried" chicken for him with veggies and a pita. I'm also thinking about making some chicken alfredo with pasta, mushrooms, and green peas to eat/use for meals for this week. I really cannot motivate myself to tackle the sinkful and counterful of dishes that need washing up. Thus the meal choices. ;)

Hopefully you will get a positive in a few days credit crunch

Sweaty betty hope your appointment went well

Mrs TM I bought the 50mg of B6 but am not sure whether or not to take them! Am scared by the warning on the back about it being above the daily allowance and could lead to nerve damage!!
    Your dinner sounds yummy btw

    Hugs chocoholic

Wangdoodle - I think you should just carry on, as code said it might not happen instantly, and you wouldn't necessarily be announcing it instantly anyway so she would be further along, is there a reason your worried about your sister or am I being slow??

I am definitely insane. As I have not had any red blood this cycle and really bad stomach ache I actually did a pregnancy test when I got in...obviously BFN. Why did I even waste one when im on the start of a new cycle even if it was an internet cheapie!?!

tia, I think that's a perfectly valid reason to do a test. Sorry it was a BFN.

I agree - sounds reasonable to me. And we have all been there. I'm still thinking that maybe last months lighter AF wasn't a real one... despite being on CD26, and getting a positive OPK (and a negative one) right on time this month!

No sign on AF today. sigh... hope is sneaking up cruelly...
