    Happy Birthday ladies :)

I wonder if its worth putting next scan dates in where relevant... Be easier to keep track of when they're coming up :)
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.
  • So many birthdays coming up! Hopefully a good week for all :)

Baby is really starting to wriggle now which is really exciting. However, does anyone else start worrying when they don't feel anything for a while? It's so strange, at first it was weird feeling it and now I miss it and worry when it's not making itself known!
  • It's my birthday on Thursday as well! I have my scan on Wednesday to get through first. I think Con's is this week too?

Had a work thing this evening so only just on my way home, going to be sleepy tomorrow!

Don't trust my phone to copy list correctly! My scan is 19th November (week today) :)

Jealous of those with scans this week!

For some unknown reason I asked for an earlier time when they offered me late afternoon of 18th... I didn't like waiting all day last time. Now I have to wait another night. Ah well.

Not felt anything concrete in terms of movement yet... Few flutters so far. My doppler is keeping me sane along with the ever increasingly noticeable bump. Hoping will feel more before scan.

  • I can't wait to start feeling movements and flutters and to have a noticeable bump where I don't just look like I have gained a little weight lol. I think I would quite like a doppler to start hearing the heartbeat. When did you guys first start hearing a heartbeat?

  • Happy birthday for yesterday to those I missed, and today Squ1rrel5!

Just had my 20 week scan - lovely experience :) we didn't tell her we'd had a private gender scan and let her see what she thought and she said 'ooh well I can't see any boy bits so I'd say it is a girl' then did the whole 'but we have to tell you it's only 98% accurate on the scan' hehe

VickyVics we ordered a Doppler after our 16 week appointment and I was going to wait until after 20 weeks but bf was impatient lol. We listen most nights now and it's a lot easier than you think to tell the difference between your own heartbeat and baby's :)

My bump is gradually starting now which is a little bit of a relief but the sonographer today did say everything was normal but to remember she is still tiny at this stage.

Had a few flutters/quickening feelings but not at all regular so looking forward to getting more of those. Have been told (and kind of figured) that as my placenta is anterior it may take a little longer to start feeling/seeing proper movements. Have had a couple of times when I've been able to feel a pulse (mine I presume) through my belly though which was a weird experience though!

Anyhoo, sonographer said they 'don't really measure length' at this stage as it's not accurate then gave me a print out with some measurements on but didn't say what they are so I'm off to Google them!
